“Z-56 Codename: “the Messenger”, real name “Axel Armstrong”, is an entity similar in origin to that of Z-13. Coming from off the streets, Z-56 volunteered to undergo experimentation to cure the cancer that was slowly killing him. Scientists used DNA strands from an axolotl exclusively in order to give Z-56 the amphibian’s regenerative properties. Though, this did come with its side effects, that’s being his current appearance. However, there was progress being made when comparing Z-56 to other, similar experimentations. And seeing as the subject had no ties to anyone in the outside world, Urbanshade decided it’d be best to keep Z-56 in containment for further testing and operations.

3 hours into lockdown, Z-56 disappeared from containment. CCTV footage began to show the subject making his way around the Ridge. Any guardsmen or Urbanshade higher ups in its path were be incapacitated. But Z-56 seems to be completely passive around Expendables. In fact, it has been reported giving out much needed supplies to them.

Some have reported Z-56 staying long enough to tell them classified information about Urbanshade that Expendables are never disclosed. It is speculated these “warnings” as he frames them are being shared by Z-13. This subject is not to be trusted. Don’t listen to a word he says.”

Happy 9th Anniversary, Undertale.

Without this game, I wouldn’t even be half the person I’ve become today. It sounds dramatic but it’s true. I never would’ve met or befriended half the people I know if it weren’t for this game. Even so, not all friendships last forever. Some fell apart, others simply drifted away.

Funny that one game was able to open me up to so many possibilities. For love, for loss, and mostly of all, for hope.

Hope that despite everything, it’ll be okay. Because in spite of loss, love is absolute.

So, here’s to making 999 more friends.
