It’s day 25 of Swordtember, and let me weave you an elaborate tale of how I drew inspiration from real Italian Renaissance Schiavona or “basket-hilted” swords and woven belts 🤣 I think the idea was better in my head… 😅

Eh? What’s all this buzz about? It’s just day 27 of Swordtember , afterall!

Day 21 of Swordtember , give me sight beyond sight!! … Wait, wrong sword again… Oh well, Eye’ll get it one day

It’s day 30 of Swordtember and while we draw (hah) to a close, don’t rest yet, something tells me that trouble is nearby…

(Well, this was definitely a fun exercise in doing something drastically out of my comfort zone! Thank you to those who stuck with me even though I’m currently pretty overwhelmed and haven’t been able to reply much. Drawtober starts tomorrow but as I’m currently dealing with a kind of major life event/emergency, I’m not sure yet if I’ll participate, but good luck to all who celebrate! ) 

Listen, I’m not saying you can’t make any split decisions when it comes to prompt 2 of @Drawtober , but I’m just saying MAYBE you should shift your perspective once, or twice, or twenty times 🤷‍♀️

(Tragically I am late past the deadline cutoff, but only because I went outside for a few hours to observe the beautiful aurora 🌌)

It’s Drawtober time again and a gentle reminder that not all things that go bump in the night seek to harm (except maybe your garden veggies… and maybe your gardeners…)

(I don’t really have time to participate this year, but I really liked the prompt list, so I’m paring myself down to more achievable pieces. I wanted to paint this but I just don’t have the time. I hope it’s still okay!)
