It’s the day after the Titan War and the campers have just tossed Percy and Annabeth into the lake after what seemed not to be their first kiss. Clarisse is grumbling because they haven’t come up for fifteen minutes. The Aphrodite campers pace back and forth. What if we just willingly drowned our OTP?

Most of the campers have left by now, as curfew has passed. Chiron waits alongside one last camper, Malcom Pace from the Athena cabin. They study the water in silence for another ten minutes until Percy and Annabeth arise from the surface, completely dry.

Malcolm crosses his arms at them. “What were you guys doing down there for so long? Looking at maps? Because you better have been able to map out the entire North Forest by now.”

Percy blushes while Annabeth laughs. “Uh, yeah. Looking at maps. Totally.”

Malcolm rolls his eyes. “Well, I might just get to it. As the only child of Athena and Annabeth’s half sibling present, I grant you, Percy Jackson, the right to date my sister.”

Annabeth tosses her hands into the air and side hugs her half brother. “Thanks, Malcolm.”

“Sure,” he grins, and tilts his glasses down his nose. “Send me those map blueprints tomorrow.”

Chiron clears his throat. “Well now that, things, have been cleared up, I suppose you all should go back to your cabins.”

Annabeth nods. “Race you!” she calls as her boyfriend and half brother try to catch up to her sprint.
