heyuu hiiii <3 this is such a lame question HOWEVER is there any headcanons you personally have about Butcher and Hughie?

This question was so targeted i see how it is huh exposing my brain rot in my own house okok here's some unserious ones since i can go on tangents otherwise:

Neither of them can fucking cook. Butcher canonically had nothing but goddamn hot pockets in his freezer and had one for breakfast, meanwhile hughie probably lives off kraft mac and cheese

Butcher's a nightmare to watch anything with because he simply will not stop fucking talking over the show/movie, give him a cigarette and he'll shut up though at least for a little bit

Hughie can blow up a guy and get covered in guts but no he cannot kill the fucking spider in his bedroom

Butcher has the epitome of a Male Living Space™️

Yes them injecting temp v together was a metaphor for sex i mean duh

Hughie often has to "translate" for butcher because people cant understand him over his dumbass accent

I feel like TF2 really established great standard for character design and silhouette even though all the characters are super stylised they still look like real people, every detail feels unique even all their ears are different.

This kind of attention to detail seems pretty underappreciated outside of the fanbase in general.

Plus the amount of personality and expression that comes out of these characters is very self evident in all of the meet the shorts

my two favourites still being Meet the Demoman and Meet the Engineer

Just thought this would be a useful bit of information for young artists when it comes to overall character design, especially when designing a whole cast of unique characters.
