summary | inspired by ‘Change Days’ on Netflix, you and Jungkook are in a toxic relationship filled with arguing and making up. in hopes to change things you join the show ‘Change Days’ but it only seems to make things worse, yet at the same time proves that you’ll do anything but leave each other.

DAY ONE

The idea to audition for the show was all Jungkook’s. You knew there was something wrong with your relationship and you needed to fix it. He thought that this would really force you to face your problems and see if it was actually worth all the fight. He had a point, you know he did but you couldn’t trust him enough to know it was the only reason he wanted to join the show. Personally you didn’t see the point in it, dating other people while in a relationship as part of an experiment but whatever. If Jungkook were to go on a date then you should too, couldn’t let him have all the fun.

He glanced over at you for a second, the hand on your thigh giving a light squeeze asking for your attention. You let your phone down looking at him and forcing a smile on your face. He spoke, “You nervous?”

“Mhm,” you gave little for a response. It’s not entirely true that you were nervous over the show. More so you were nervous about the end. You thought about the last day when you’d be forced to either stay and love each other or leave. Not even saying that you wouldn’t find some way back to each other [you always do] but when you’re faced with an ultimatum lines are drawn. It wasn’t something you could brush off, that’s why Jungkook wanted to do this.

“For the date or the house?” Jungkook cleared his throat checking the gps again. You’d just been told you’d be having a date with your ‘Ideal Type’ apparently. It must’ve been based off the questionnaire the crew made you fill out. You didn’t answer him looking out the window. You didn’t want to think for a moment knowing you’d be leaving on a date right now and Jungkook would go with someone else.

You were dropped off at an illusion museum. Jungkook pointed to his cheek and you leaned for the kiss before leaving. You didn’t want to talk about where he was going or who he was going with. You didn’t want to think about that.

This was one of your problems with him. You both had a tendency to hide what you really felt. All the fights you had were over jealousy mostly out of irritation or to mask that one of you was mad at something worse. If it was important you both would hide your feelings but if it was something meaningless you’d let it show. Anything to avoid having a serious conversation over your concerns. You both struggled a lot with insecurities and it showed through in every petty argument you’d have.

At the museum you met the man who was supposed to be your date. Immediately you can see why the show paired him with you. He wasn’t extremely tall but he was lean, with broad shoulders. His hair was a dark brown and sharp brows. He looked over to you, a shy smile on his face that made you wonder how you were possibly his ideal type. His name was Kim Taehyung.

It was hard. The show prohibited you from talking about your age, occupation, or current relationship so finding something familiar was hard.

“So what is your ideal type actually?“ Taehyung asked later on after the museum. You two sat across from each other in a café talking. You thought about it for a second. What do you even say when you ask that?

It sucks that Jungkook didn’t come to mind, but you just hadn’t thought about him. You clicked your tongue trying to think, Taehyung laughing softly when you failed to answer. “Ah,” you pointed a finger without direction, “Someone I’m comfortable with. If I feel strange around someone I can’t help but show it and it makes my anxiety go up. I like someone who makes me feel unease.”

“Do I make you comfortable?” He’d been forward with the question. Taehyung could compare you to his girlfriend he’d say you had a better first impression to him. He couldn’t speak too freely considering it was the first day and you both clearly were in relationships. Still, he was curious about you, you were matched up today for a reason and he wanted to know what.

You looked over at him careful with your expressions scared the cameras would pick something up and create misunderstandings. Slowly you nodded, “I found it really easy to talk to you. From the beginning I’d say you made me feel comfortable.”

He just smiled. You spoke up, “Your turn. What’s your ideal type?”

He looked out the window holding his tea up. He looked at your reflection for a second before drifting over the garden just outside. “I like someone who I can be myself with. I’m very honest and straightforward and if I can’t express myself well then it bothers me. I need to be comfortable and be able to do that.”

It wasn’t until the afternoon when you got back. Unfortunately for you, his girlfriend and her date had already been there. Her name was Mira, she was a pretty girl with curled hair. She gave you a sideways glance when you both came in smiling. Taehyung paused for a moment, the laugh dying down slightly when he saw her then. Now they sat next to each other with you on the other side. Mira had gone on a date with Hoseok. Taehyung looked at guy once, looking over to you too. It was all very awkward.

Now that the high buzz from the date with him had worn off you thought about Jungkook. You wondered how he’d walk in, if he’d be smiling like you’d been or if he’d be distant.

Jungkook was the last to arrive actually. The other two had arrived shortly after you and Taehyung while Jungkook and his date were last. He’d been in the middle of talking about something you weren’t sure of as he walked into the dining room. Immediately he looked around at everyone finding you sitting there. He realized then everyone was already there minus him and the girl he’d been out with. Her name was Yunha and she was dating some guy named Namjoon.

He cleared his throat as he took his seat, his hand going to your lap immediately searching for your hand. He could already feel himself getting annoyed sizing up all these guys and trying to guess who your date was. His eyes landed on Taehyung when he glanced over at you with a little smile. Jungkook looked to you see how you’d react and when you smiled back with a little glint in your eye he knew then that was the guy.

Jungkook had been too busy looking Taehyung up trying to see what it was that had the show matching him with you. He didn’t hear it all clearly when the girl he’d gone on the date with spoke up. She touched his arm bc lightly snapping him out of his glaring, “Ugh, those macaroons were so good I want you to make me more.”

Your fingers twitched. You’d been in the middle of talking with the girl across from you, Hoseok’s girlfriend Jisoo. You could see her touch Jungkook’s arm from the corner of your eye. You didn’t react then, wanting to hide any reaction from everyone that you’d just met. You did however recieve a text over dinner.

ChangeDays | your partner from today’s date has asked you out on another tomorrow. do you accept or deny?

You glanced up at Taehyung for a second before checking everyone else. No one else was checking their phone and when you looked at Jungkook he was talking to Yunha.

Till the end of that awkward dinner you hadn’t been able to stop thinking about it. What did it mean for you to accept? Did it seriously mean you were at least a little interested in Taehyung? Would Jungkook find out? If he did how would he react? Did all the male participants ask someone out or had Taehyung just asked you? All the questions were raising in your head and at the end of dinner they’d been answered.

‘Welcome to Change Days! Over the date today our male participants were asked if they’d like to go on a second date. The participants who chose were… Jeon Jungkook…”

You refused to look at him when you felt your boyfriend’s eyes on you. Of course he’d choose to go on a second date with the girl he’d gone out with today. You also knew what was coming and that Jungkook wouldn’t take it well. It almost brought a smile to your face knowing Jungkook probably thought he’d have one up on you.

“And Kim Taehyung. The female participants who have accepted to go on a date tomorrow were Choi Yunha and Y/n L/n.”

Jungkook looked over to you, a smug smile on his face, “Looks like we both have plans tomorrow.” It was awkward. You and Jungkook were the only couple where the two of you had agreed on going on dates. Mira glared at Taehyung who sunk into his chair a little awkwardly and you already knew a few fights would happen tonight.

After dinner you and Jungkook retreated to your room to unpack and you did so without a word. Jungkook was in the bathroom unpacking your makeup and face washed while you sat in the large bedroom unpacking the clothes. He wondered if he should say something. If he should apologize or get mad that you agreed to go on another date. He went for the latter.

“Your date must’ve been amazing for you to wanna go on another,” his movements were angry as he took out the shampoos and conditioners. You didn’t answer him, only rolled your eyes and continued stuffing a drawer with his clothes. He waited for you to respond and when you didn’t he pushed, “I wonder what you’ll do tomorrow.”

“Have you thought about your own date?” You asked, “Since you agreed to go on another too.”

“Yes but that was during the date when I was talking to her and thought it was a good idea,” Jungkook stepped out of the bathroom to look at you, “After the date I didn’t think about her once. You’re the one who accepted it over dinner as I’m sitting right next to you.”

“Okay? We still both did the same thing I doubt when it happened matters—“

The knock on your door cut you off. Jungkook huffed in annoyance walking over to the door opening it to reveal Taehyung. He gave Jungkook an awkward smile, “Is Y/n here?”

Jungkook was tempted to say no but he had no time when you rushed over. He looked down at his phone, a text from the crew telling him to go officiate the plans with Yunha and he understood why Taehyung was here. Without another word he moved past him and left the room to go find Yunha. He wanted to stay and here what Taehyung had to say but knew better of it. It was the first day and Jungkook was already regretting joining the show.

He needed this thought. He needed to be put in these uncomfortable situations where he watched his girlfriend go out with someone else. It might not make sense to everyone but it does to him. He spends so much time arguing over little things that he feels he should be forced to face reality. The reality being he loves you and even when you break up he can’t fully leave you, ever, and if he’s put in these awkward situations maybe he’ll come to realize how much he truly wants to be with you.

DAY TWO

Jungkook watched as you did your make up. He sat on the lid of the toilet watching you closely. He looked at your skirt rolling his eyes, “Aren’t you going to be cold?”

“No,” you mumbled trying to put mascara on. He played with the hem of your skirt trying to drag you over to him. With a sigh you planted yourself down on his lap like he’d wanted you to. You looked to him as he kissed along your neck. “It’s short,” Jungkook mumbled, “I don’t want you to get cold.”

Or actually, he didn’t want you to look good for any other guy. He’s used to you dressing however and he really doesn’t care—but that’s when he’s there with you and he knows you’re not trying to look good for anyone but yourself. Usually he’d be proud, thinking in his head ‘my girl looks hot’ but right now he is as torn at the thought of you going out with another guy looking so pretty.

“No,” you shook your head trying to sit up but he kept you locked in place, “Don’t you have a date to get to?”

“Y/n, please change,” he went on looking at you again, “I’m not leaving until you do.”

“I’m not going to change, I always dress like this and you never have a problem with it,” you told him standing up and finishing up your makeup. He groaned loudly, why did he agree to go on another date? At the time he’d been pretty happy talking to Yunha. She was new to him and it was exciting so when he was asked if he’d go on another he had accepted. He didn’t expect your date with Taehyung to go so well that you’d want to go on another too. That didn’t sit well with him.

He had a problem with jealousy and double standards, he knows it, but so do you. That’s what makes your relationship so heated, you both were so possessive that he honestly couldn’t believe you both agreed on this. He was running late to meet Yunha so with reluctance he gave up on the topic of your skirt to wrap his arms around your waist and kiss you. His hand slid down your cheek to your chin where he cupped your jaw, dark eyes locked on yours, “Let’s not go on our dates.”

“Jungkook,” you yanked your face out of his grasp, “You’re the one who wanted this, remember?”

With a final goodbye he left. He tried not to think about you and Taehyung as he met up with Yunha out front. He forced a smile on his face as he greeted her and led her out to one of the cars production had set out for everyone.

“I’m excited,” Yunha had told him thinking about all the plans Jungkook had made with her last night. He was in charge of creating a date today and he chose to keep it simple. He’d take her out to a botanical greenhouse restaurant for lunch and afterwards they’d create their own perfume. He planned on creating one that you’d like knowing your favorite scents and all.

He looked at Yunha over lunch dissecting her appearance mostly. She was his ideal type from before he met you. She had short black hair that reached just above her shoulders, pale, resembled IU. When he first saw her yesterday he’d deemed her attractive and it had made him smile. The more they talked today the more he can find similarities between them, both being from Busan, both having one brother, er cetera. They were also both born in the same year unlike you who’d been you get than him but he had liked that. He liked taking care of you.

And despite what it might seem he hadn’t thought about you a whole lot during the date. It wasn’t until he and Yunha had returned to the house when his anxiety began to rise. You’d yet to arrive and he couldn’t help but wonder what you and Taehyung were up to.

When he heard you come in laughing he could feel himself begin to tense up. He didn’t like the idea of some other guy making you laugh even if he’d just returned from a date on his own. The ones who’d been at the house all day were in the dining room with Jungkook and Yunha having dinner. You and Taehyung walked in shortly after wiping off those stupid smug smiles off your faces.

“Should we heat up dinner for them?” Jisoo asked when you waved at Jungkook before heading to the kitchen for a plate. Mira snorted glaring at her boyfriend who walked past her with a small smile as he followed you into the kitchen, “They can heat up their own food.”

Jungkook silently agreed thinking it was a good idea at first. But then he heard more laughter from the kitchen and in an instant he was up. He stormed over and found you and Taehyung at the kitchen counter. He went behind you, a hand on your waist as he kissed your cheek, “Have you had dinner yet?”

“No, we underestimated how much food to bring,” you turned to him. Your hand touched his neck reassuringly and flashed him a smile. He just nodded going back to his seat when he assured himself no funny business was happening in the kitchen.

When you came out moments later with a plate the questions began. Mira glared over at you like you’d done something wrong though technically you hadn’t. Everyone knew what the show entailed and that’s why you weren’t mad at Jungkook for going on a date with Yunha. Everyone knew you’d be going out with other people’s partners so for Mira to glare at you like you’d done something wrong was unfair.

“So what did you all do today?” You asked trying to cut some of the tension circling the dining room. Jisoo spoke up first, “Those of us who stayed home went out to buy groceries and for lunch. Nothing special.”

“Not at all, what did you do with Taehyung?” Mira asked looking over to you. Taehyung cut in first, “We went glamping, I told you already.”

Jungkook turned to you when Yunha spoke up, “That’s nice. We went to this botanical restaurant. It was super lovely and we got to create perfumes. Oh Y/n you’re gonna love Jungkook’s perfume, I picked it out myself.”

You looked at her for a second trying to see if there were any hidden remarks in her statement. Jungkook just sighed, his original plan had been to give you the perfume he created but Yunha had thought better of creating one for each other so in the end he gave it to her.

By the time everyone was ready to call it a night you and Jungkook retreated to your bedroom, you looked over at him, “Well let me smell this perfume.”

He took the small box he’d set on the dresser and handed it to you. You raised the perfume to your nose, face scrunching at the tangy scent. He was up taking his shirt off getting ready for the night as you looked over the scents put into the perfume. Still in your skirt, your legs were hiked up on the bed giving Jungkook a view of the space between your legs. He huffed out tiredly as he plopped down to sit at your feet pulling tour legs onto his lap.

You handed him the perfume and he smelled it again, expression mirroring yours at the strong scent, “You keep it.”

“I can’t,” you said running your leg up his Jean clad thigh, “Yunha picked it out herself just for you.”

His ears picked up your jealous tone pretty quickly and it’s bad how it made him smile. Good. You cared enough about him to get jealous.

DAY THREE

Today was much slower. Nothing was planned for the day so far so you all had free reign to get to know each other which really meant you’d be talking about your relationships. Namjoon and Yunha had gone first.

Yunha and Namjoon had been together for five years now and their biggest complaint was that they’ve lost their spark. Their relationship had become boring and though they loved each other they searched for something new or worth sparking up their love again.

Hoseok and Jisoo were a little more complicated. One wanted to get married and the other didn’t but they also didn’t want to break up. They didn’t want to think about their future but growing up has put them in a tight spot.

When Taehyung spoke about his relationship with Mira you listened much closer. Mira sighed, “We’ve broken up once before but that was because of me.”

“We’d been dating for about six months and I cheated on him, it was a one time mistake,” Mira said trying to justify it, “But since then we’ve been together for nine months now.”

“I have difficulty trusting her,” Taehyung pointed out when Mira didn’t go into more detail. He looked over to you and Jungkook, “What about you two?”

“We’ve been together in total for about two years,” Jungkook spoke up as he looked over to you, “But we’ve broken up maybe ten times?”

“Ten times?” Namjoon’s brows furrowed. You nodded your head playing with the throw pillow which sat on your lap. You turned to your boyfriend as you spoke, “I think our biggest problem is communication? We fight a lot over little things but avoid talking about important stuff. We know we do it.”

“We are also very similar in the way we think and express ourselves and I think sometimes that complicated things when you don’t have someone to balance you out,” Jungkook added, his hand on your back as he spoke.

It’s true. Maybe not on the outside but on the inside you and Jungkook were eerily similar. When you first met it was exciting. You were different from each other when it came to your likes and dislikes but when it came to how you were within it was insane how similar you were. Jungkook was always so used to being the possessive and jealous one in the relationship that when you acted similarly it made him defensive.

It felt like he had to make excuses for everything you’d accuse him of and he’d think about last relationships when he’d be the one accusing his partner. It made him want to argue with you because it appeared you didn’t trust him even if he got jealous over any guy who was around you too. On top of that you weren’t easy to be with.

Back then he would so easily have his girlfriends apologizing begging on their knees for him but with you it wasn’t like that. After an argument you brushed him to the side like you didn’t have time for it when he just wanted to take his anger out on you. And it’s not like you were perfect, Jesus Christ you were insufferable when you wanted to argue. Nobody could ignore you, nobody could walk away without hearing what you had to say even if you’d said it ten times over. So many times would it become a screaming between you two.

Sometimes he wonders if you argued with him for the make up sex. The hate fueled sex after an argument was always amazing—though to be fair sex with you in general was amazing. But he thinks that’s another reason for all your problems. You can argue for days over a problem so minuscule and insignificant but when one of you does something actually wrong you don’t want to talk about it. You want to forget it exists and what ends up happening is you fuck your feelings away. It worked in the beginning but now that you’ve been together a little over two years you both have realized you can’t fuck the problems away. You needed to be grown ups and talk it out.

That’s why you joined the show, in hopes that you’d be able to face your issues head on and quit breaking up whenever things got too hard and you couldn’t avoid it using sex.

The most recent argument you’ve tried to avoid was over moving in together. He wants you to move in but you’re not sure yet. The amount of times you’ve broken up means you shouldn’t live in one household. What happens the next time you do something to piss him off and he breaks up with you? Or when he prioritizes anyone and everyone over you that you’re sick of being with him and need a break? You won’t be able to do that anymore when you move in together. Plus, Jungkook always acts like you’re expendable.

He loves you and he knows you love him but he wonders if you weren’t made to be in a relationship to each other. Maybe that’s where things went wrong, when you decided to be something more than friends. He misses when you were friends, laughing and going out for drinks, confiding in each other over relationship problems. But then he thinks about it now and the thought of you going out when anyone but him fills him with so much anger he can’t even explain it. He can’t picture not kissing you good morning or goodnight. And though it isn’t the most healthiest relationships he also knows there’s no one else like you for him. That’s probably why you keep going back to each other even after trying to see other people.

So it makes him laugh a little when he thinks about what the show means for them. He imagines what it’d be like to truly fall for someone other than you here and what it’d be like to date them. But then almost instantly he thinks about when he breaks up with them and he goes running back to you because you’ve been all he knows long before you even started dating.

It’s something people don’t understand. They don’t get how you both can put up with all these arguments but they just don’t get it. You know you’re a lot to handle and he is too, yet you are the only ones who have been able to understand that about each other. He’s the only one who’s actually put up with all of your bratty antics and puts you in your place. And vise versa, whenever he gets on his high horse around you, you knock him down a few pegs and remind him he can’t just treat you like shit because he’s mad. You aren’t apologizers, you don’t say you’re sorry to each other because you both already know you are.

Except maybe talking things out instead of leaving it as is will be the only thing to save your relationship.

DAY FOUR

When he woke up first thing in the morning he hadn’t expected to have a text. He read over it a few times while you showered and tried to decide what to do.

In reality he should’ve said no. He knew himself better and knew what it’d mean for him to see any sort of picture where you looked close to another guy but he couldn’t help it. He had to know what it looked like. So far he’s tried very hard not to argue with you or talk about anything difficult in front of cameras but who knows how much longer he’ll be able to hold it off. You’ve barely been talking to each other when you’re alone and he’s sure it has to deal with you both wanting to avoid fighting. But he can’t help but notice how unaffectionate you’ve both been since you got here. You weren’t normally the PDA type or anything but your relationship did have a lot of sexual favors for each other. It was your love language in the simplest of definitions.

He stared at the first picture, you and Taehyung were bundled up in a tent playing some card game laughing. He zoomed in on your face seeing your bright smile. The picture wasn’t the worst so he tried to move on from it. In the second you and Taehyung were a little closer apparently talking but your eye contact was intense. It was the last two pictures that had him on edge. In one you were feeding Taehyung a s’more and in the last Taehyung was wrapping a scarf around your neck. Jungkook scoffed a little when he saw it.

Just then you came out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around yourself holding your phone up. Your eyes were locked on one of the photos from Jungkook’s date. Yunha ‘fixing’ his hair while he leaned down for her to reach. They were looking into each other’s eyes and everything. In another picture she was huddled extremely close to Jungkook’s side practically pressed against him. Still, you didn’t dare bring it up right now. You feel yourself annoyed by it and in order to avoid confrontation you’ll keep it to yourself.

Jungkook on the other hand didn’t care at the moment, “I saw the pictures.”

You didn’t say anything digging through your clothes for something new to wear. He watched you walk back into the bathroom to change. He gave you some time and when he heard the clink of your make up on the counter he got up and followed you. He leaned against the doorframe, “So does that guy not have hands or something? You gotta feed it to him?”

You rolled your eyes not bothering to look at him. You can already sense an argument spewing and you’d rather not freak out on camera. Jungkook looked at the camera as he huddled closer to you spotting the gray scarf Taehyung had wrapped around you. He picked it up and pushed it toward you, “You plan on keeping it?”

“I’m going to give it back but I couldn’t yesterday. It would look bad if I handed it to him while Mira was there,” you finally answered him but it only seemed to annoy him more when you only decided to talk about the scarf and not the pictures. You wanted to hold it in but with him wanting to talk now you couldn’t, “And don’t worry about what happens on my date when your pictures say something too.”

He didn’t even think about what his pictures would look like. You continued, “You’re the one who wanted to be on this show so you have no right getting mad over what happens.”

“Okay but we came on this show to fix our relationship,” Jungkook said stepping out of the bathroom when you turned to go to the bed, “Unless you plan on breaking up with me.”

You rolled your eyes, “You always assume I want to break up with you. If you don’t want to be together just say it and let’s stop wasting our time.”

“Oh is that what we’re doing? Wasting each other’s time being together?” Jungkook followed you. You sat up on your knees, “Thats not what I meant and you know it. You’re the one who brings up breaking up any chance you get.”

“Because listen to the way you respond. I know I’m the one who wanted to be on the show but you can’t even try and be a little considerate of me when you go out with another guy? This was my idea but you seem pretty fucking happy going on dates with that guy,” Jungkook crawled onto the bed sitting in front of you. You crossed your arms over your chest narrowing your eyes at him, “What about you?”

You took your phone and pulled up one of his pictures, the one where Yunha had her hands all over his face, “Doesn’t look like you care much for being considerate to me.”

“That was her, was I just supposed to push her away? You are feeding him,” Jungkook told you. You stood up getting off the bed as you slipped on your slippers, “Whatever. You always have an excuse for what you do but when I do something it’s the end of the world.”

“Where are you going?” Jungkook asked watching you open the door to your shared bedroom. You didn’t answer him, simply closing the door and walking away.

You wanted to ask Taehyung out. He made you feel the most comfortable so far. You’ve been on edge with Jungkook lately and Taehyung has a way to make you feel at ease. It made you feel guilty to say that but it’s true. When you’re arguing with Jungkook any time you try and talk it makes it hard to want to be around him. But even if you wanted to ask Taehyung you weren’t going to.

You’ve already met up with him twice and you’re scared what might come of it if you go out with him a third. So, you chose Hoseok instead. If you would’ve chosen Namjoon it’d be weird considering he was dating Yunha and she seemed so close to your boyfriend. You also haven’t had enough time to talk to Hoseok either so it’d be nice to get to know someone else. After dinner you managed to catch him before he left the dining room and asked him out. He was a bit taken back but accepted nevertheless with a smile.

Later over dinner you heard the god awful sound:

‘Welcome to Change Days! Our female participants had a chance to ask a man of their choosing out on a date. The ones who will be going on a date tomorrow are… Lee Yunha and Kim Taehyung, Y/n and Jung Hoseok…”

You barely reacted when they said it but Jungkook’s hand over your thigh tightened just a fraction more.

“Park Jisoo and Jeon Jungkook. Kang Mira and Jeon Jungkook.”

You couldn’t hide the surprise on your face. First you looked at Namjoon noticing he wasn’t asked out and you couldn’t understand why. Maybe it had to do with him mostly keeping to himself so far but you couldn’t understand why nobody chose. You also couldn’t understand how you got lucky enough to date Mr. Popular who managed to score two dates for tomorrow. You didn’t say anything to him, not sure if you even had a right to. Instead you just got up once dinner was over and went to your room to look up date ideas to go over with Hoseok.

When Jungkook came in you couldn’t stop yourself from wanting an argument, “I can’t believe I’m dating Mr. Popular, aren’t I lucky?”

He rolled his eyes crossing the room and shedding himself of his clothes leaving him in his briefs only and getting a towel. He went over to where you sat on your bed, “Let’s shower together.”

“I’m tired,” you lied pulling the covers over yourself. He knows you’re mad he has two dates tomorrow but to be fair it’s not his fault two girls asked him out. And could he really say no or would production have time him he had to considering that’s the point of the show?

And he misses you. He misses your hands on him and your soft skin under his fingertips. He misses the rough sex you’d have every chance you two could get after all those fights. He never realized how much you tried escaping with sex. Right now that you’ve been here and have been having these tiny disagreements that have left him annoyed till the next day was strange. He’s not used to being mad at you like this. He’s used to you two fighting and making up a couple hours later with a good fuck. But if you weren’t having sex you’re forced to keep feeling this way until you get over it or talk it out. He doesn’t want to do either.

“Come on baby,” he leaned into your neck not caring about the cameras in the room, “I miss you.”

“It’s an early night tonight,” you told him knowing full well what he wanted to do right now and you weren’t interested. He wants to complain about your photos or your skirt being too short when look at what he’s doing. He’s going on a date with two girls and he expects you to want to have sex after finding out?

“Besides I have to tell Hoseok what we’re doing tomorrow and I’m sure both girls have to tell you the plans too,” you shut him down.

DAY FIVE

“I don’t want to leave before we talk,” Jungkook had said the next morning. You’d just finished breakfast and were in your room now getting ready for the day. Jungkook’s first date was Jisoo but you didn’t know exactly what they were doing. All you knew was that they’d be getting lunch and go do something else. Then he’d have his date with Mira later.

“What do you mean?” You cleared your throat brushing your hair back as you looked at him through the reflection of the mirror. He came up behind you, “Are you mad at me?”

“No,” you turned to look at him, “This is what we signed up for. We knew what we’re getting ourselves into. I’m just trying to be understanding that’s all.”

His hands found your waist pulling you into him. He was supposed to be meeting Jisoo any second now. He looked down at you, forehead leaned against yours, “Let’s not look at the pictures today. I don’t want to fight.”

You thought about it for a second. Maybe he was right, if you just kept yourself clueless on what he was doing today you could pretend like everything was okay. You can act like seeing him be all happy with someone else didn’t affect you. You came on this show to meet other people, not to break up but to see if your relationship was strong.
