Given a tiny that has no fuckin clue the danger they're in.
Like, you'd have to spell it out for this tiny that "you are in the hands of a giant and are about to get eaten" kinda stupid. But, hey, that just, somehow, makes them just that much more appealing to keep around for a little while.
Carry them around in your hand as they babble on and on about all they've managed to 'borrow' from you. Just give em a minute to let them realize just how deep of shit they've put themselves in when they spill ALL of it.
Cause they don't know when to stop. They're like a cat. "You're not a giant, deadly creature that could kill me with a singe finger. You're just a big tiny!"
And that's when they aren't just completely enraptured by the things around him that he couldn't dream of passing by with the speed your moving at while just walking.
That's all they're worried about.
You could have this tiny in your mouth and they'd just be gushing about how cool and sharp your teeth look.
Make a little experiment out of it.
Swallow them.
See if they figure out just how easily they could have died there if you didn't send them to your storage just then.
And don't mistake this for trust!
This is pure stupidity, my friend.
Don't even get me started on the fact they'd actually try to fight you if they got upset at something you said. You think they're joking?
Try again.
This bitch has no sense of self-preservation nor do they even know what it means to. To them, they're getting ready to square up with a person who was an idiot. Not them.
Watch the cogs slowly turn in their head when they realize they're trying to fight someone who's fist is the size of them.
And when they realize, do they backtrack? Try to save themselves?
Hell no! This just makes it more fun! More challenging!
Ah shit
So, we started dnd with a campaign based off a book series the dm really likes, and apparently he can't find any fanfiction of it anywhere...
So
Yeah
Someone said to post our sessions (I think this was me) and someone else said to post on Tumblr (this was who the hell knows) and..
Yeah
Now we're here
I'll do one post for each session and we've already had three, so expect more hopefully
(FYI, book series is Arinthian line)
Haven't read it myself but someone else in the party started and I have only heard good things about it π
anyway
Characters are-
May: 12 and Atlas: 13 (brother and sister)
Asher: 16? (Random dude they met (still a player))
Rest are the actual characters and/or npc's
Not too many npc's as the dm (as far as I know) does really well with keeping with plot and having cannon characters we enteract with.
So, yeah, first session! :D
(Need fecken foodπΆββοΈ)
_____________
Atlas woke to the smell of smoke only to open his eyes to a raging fire not far from him. He leaped out of bed, running around, trying to find what had happened to cause such a flame to take their normally tame home. He leaves his room and looks down the hall not long before he sees the door to his sister's room do the same, her head poking out, mimicking her brother's. They ran to the front door, barely making it out and falling into the snow right outside before some parts of the house started collapsing.
The fire seemed to be only the beginning, as when the two looked out to try to spot their parents, their eyes only landed on the corpses of them, surrounded by guards in strange armor. The king grinning down at said bodies.
"Well damn," A (May's player) stated with a look of half surprise, half amusement at the quick start.
"Uhhh," J (Atlas' player) muttered with a look of slight panic. Yes, he is the one who read the book.
"Well, what do you wanna do?" The dm questioned.
"We should probably try to sneak out" -J with sarcasm.
"Yeeeaah" -A
The siblings, sensing the very clear danger, turned to try to make a quiet getaway.
"Alright, roll for stealth." -dm
"Ah, shit." -A, with a slight history of bad rolls.
Both roll, A successful and J failure.
May, with her smaller form, managed to silently sneak past falling wood and burnt straw with little to no sound, successfully making it to the white woods next to their house. Atlas, not so much, comically stepping on a stick as he passes, looking up to see the alerted guard.
"K, roll a wis save." -dm
J rolls a wisdom save and succeeds.
"Do you look up?" -dm to A
"No, I just look at where he broke the stick" -A, (thinking: with a look of 'wtf, a stick, really?')
One of the guards locks eyes with Atlas. Atlas, for a moment, gets a strange feeling when he sees the guard but quickly brushes it off. He takes off running, attempting to flee in a different direction than his sister. He runs and runs for what feels like forever, the cold air burning his lungs before he hears the guard stop suddenly.
He continues to run for a little longer before slowing down and turning to see that the corpse of a guard had stopped as if there was an invisible wall. It looked forward at him for a moment before turning around and walking back as if it had all never happened.
Atlas stands there stuned for what felt like hours, but couldn't have been minutes. When he gains his composer again, he turns to where he thinks he saw May run off in.
"Roll investigation." -dm
Rolls and it lands low, but not a one, thankfully.
"It takes you a while, but you do find her." -dm
Atlas wondered for what definitely had to be at least an hour or two before hearing sniffling in a bush. He walks over cautiously before spotting his sister's dark, shaggy hair poking out of some leaves.
He walked over, making a little more noise, trying to alert May of his presence. When May's head turned so quick that Atlas felt like his own neck hurt from it, she spotted her brother and rushed over to him, pulling him into a bone crushing hug. She sobbed into his shirt for several minutes, him crying quietly into her hair.
Atlas was the first to get the tears to slow, he knew he needed to stay strong for his sister.
"Yeah, May is balling her eyes out." -A
"Atlas is definitely upset, but he knows he needs to hold it together for now." -J
"What do you guys wanna do now?" -dm
"We should probably set up camp, start a fire." -J
"Let's get closer to the buildings so they think the smoke is just another building." -A
J gives a thumbs up.
Atlas and May managed to gather themselves enough to get a plan for surviving. They got close enough to hide the smoke, but far enough that they didn't have to directly watch their home burn.
Atlas started the fire while May went off to look for edible berries and any other food.
"Roll survival" -dm
A roles and gets a natural 20.
"Hell yeah!" -A
"Holy shit!" -J
"You find everything, you know exactly what's edible." -dm while laughing.
"I got extra training with mom and dad." -A joked.
"You were the bakers favorite, so he taught you much more. As in, he loves you more than his own son." -dm
This caused the whole party to start laughing.
May quickly locates the berries, edible flowers, all with practiced ease. She brings back an arm full and lays them out for her and her brother to start eating.
"Show off," Atlas says, laughing lightly and ruffles May's hair. Atlas was only a year older but always acted more maturely than the typical 12 year old. Atlas knew he had to take charge now, knew he needed to keep his sister safe...
No matter how crazy she acts sometimes.
The next day, they got up, and Atlas led the way back to their, now ash, home. They tried not to think too hard on it as they dug around the remains. Atlas made quick work of finding a strange book. It didn't look like their usual story books, which surprised them, as that was all they ever knew was in their house.
"Wait, THAT book?!" -J
"Yep" -dm
Atlas pockets that for later.
May digs through for any rations.
"Roll investigation."
A rolls, getting a natural 19.
A throws their hands up in victory.
"Yes! I find all the food!"
That night, they had a fire that was burning out with a tent holding in what little heat they had from the soft breeze that felt like it was cutting through them. Atlas was looking over their rations, just talking out loud.
May was at the small opening of the tent, just sitting there, half listening to her brother when something strange caught her eye.
"Roll a d20 real fast." -dm
A rolls, and it lands low. A grimaces.
"You look down and see ice slowly crawling up your finger, barely making it to the knuckle before receding and repeating."
A sits there in confusion then amazing.
"That's so cool!"
May watches as what looks like vines of ice slowly slither up her finger. She wasn't sure what to do, but it didn't matter as she was too stuned to do anything while the ice went back down before rising again.
"Hey.. Atlas?" May attempts to get her brother's attention, but he continues to ramble. She makes a few more calls before yelling at him. He makes a sharp turn to her, still on guard with what happened only a few hours ago.
All train of thought stopped, however, when he looked down at what she was referring to. Just as she was, Atlas was frozen in place, confused before a thought came over him. He rushed over to the book he had pulled from the remains of their home and looked through.
He brought it over to May, showing her where it talks of "Arcanery" and how to control it. This confused them both, weren't their parents just.. well.... what were they? They never seemed to really need anything. This was all thought by Atlas, as May was busy with the seemingly alive ice on her finger.
"This is so cool! Hello little guy!" May leaned in, trying to get a closer look, completely infatuated by it.
"Do you say that?"- dm
"Yeah, it just sounds so cute." -A
"It quickly retreats, as if embarrassed."- dm
"Dang it!"- A
The ice quickly retreated from her finger after the comment. This upset May. She began talking to it, apologizing repeatedly. To any passerby, she looked crazy, talking to nothing.
Atlas went from amazement to confusion at May's choice of passing the time. He went back to reading the book. (The dm has us roll to see how far we get through each chapter, but I can't remember off the top of my head how far we got)
When he got as far as he felt he could for the night, he offered the book to May. She took it with no other words exchanged. She didn't get as far into the book before giving up for the night. They ate their fill of their dinner and attempted to drift to sleep.
Fell back into G/T.... and fear play.. so, imma give a lotta both :)
Just wanna hold a tiny Ninety..π
βββββββββ
Tiny that's so scared. And so small. One that even as a giant would be small.
Fits between two fingers no issue. As if holding a twig.
And so terrifies cause they know you could crush them in an instant if you wanted. Could just have a finger twitch, and they'd either be smashed or dropped to the ground, hight from the drop killing them instantly, no doubt.
But neither happen. You just hold them. Between those two fingers with a blank expression.
Maybe you already knew about them. You'd already met. So, the question is, what'd they do wrong.
Maybe you didn't know of them yet. Oh how they screwed up, then. They don't know you. And even if they'd seen you from a distance, they'd never seen you so.. empty? Scary? Fucking terrifying?
They're scared speechless. Unable to even scream.
What did you want from them? Why was they still alive? Would. they still be alive the next minute?
You blink. Then again. Then a few quick times before your eyes widen a fraction. Had-.. had you spaced out? They'd seen you do it before. But, seriously? Now?
Your face turns to the one you make when they sees you looking at pictures of the smaller versions of those death creatures giants sometimes keep around.
And now you were looking at them like that. What did that mean? What-
Your stomach growls. You look down to it with a bit of surprise.
They looks down at it in fear.
You look back to them as if you just got the best idea ever.
And you raise them to your mouth.
Dropping them in.
They fall into the wet cavern, teeth clicking shut behind them. They're shrouded in darkness, only getting a moment of thought before something is pushed against them, rubbing over them, coating them in saliva.
It all happens so fast. Then your head is tilted back, them sliding down and down.
Where are they going?! They'd heard of the rare occasion of tinies getting stored instead of eaten. But your stomach growled. But you looked like you liked them.
Where were they going?!
Where were they going?!
Alastor x Helper!Reader (part 2)
You had been with Alastor for quite a few years now, hardly leaving his side except for 'errands' he sends you on.
You stay as close as possible, sometimes becoming just a soul and going into his staff, where many others that have made deals reside. It had taken a while for this to become routine. Plenty of nights wandering around after being dismissed for the day.
You had no place to stay and weren't really bothered by it, more upset that you weren't there if Alastor needed your services. You knew he could simply summon you if he needed, but you preferred being there.
Alastor was actually out on a walk one night when he stumbled upon you not too far from his tower. You were sleeping... out in the open.. standing up..
Even after he had directly asked you, you were still hesitant to tell him.
You had wanted to stay with him, but he wanted you to leave. In your mind, it was that simple. Apparently, Alastor didn't feel the same.
It was when you finally told him how you felt that you found out about the space in his staff. He told you that normally those that he kept in his staff were the difficult souls that tried "poorly" to defy him, tried to cheat him out of the deal they made, or tried to find loopholes.
However, you had practically handed your own over on a silver platter, so he felt no real reason to do that.
Until then, that is.
You had your own little space in the staff, too. While it looked like all the others were crammed together in a small space, you were given a bedroom that looked close to the one you had when you served Alaster as a human.
You were home.
And you would never leave unless commanded.
There was a long period, seven years to be exact, where you were not summoned. When you were called upon after, for the first time in too long, Alastor had made you swear to never speak of the point in time. It didn't take much to keep your mouth shut. It never did.
He had talked with you for a long time before you both looked over at a TV that you hadn't even noticed was there. Alastor looked ready to rip it to shreds for interrupting your time together, but paused when a blonde headed girl popped up on screen, talking about a hotel of some sort.
You paid little mind to it and turned back to continue your conversation with Alastor when you saw his eyes locked on it, his expression changing to the mischievous one he wore when he found his new target/fixation for the next while.
You knew there was no going back to the conversation now, so you got prepared for whatever Alastor wanted to do.
"Shall I return to the staff, sir?"
He turns back to you with a snap of his head, as if you had just reminded him of your existence again.
"Oh! Yes, my apologies, my dear. Although it seems you already know. We shall continue this later!"
And with that, he raised his staff, and you closed your eyes as you felt yourself deform back into a soul, floating over to his staff and flying into the eye of it.
You felt yourself become a form of yourself, walking over to the recliner you had and plopping down into it. You watched through the eye of the staff as Alastor knocked on the door and tried to introduce himself, only to have the door shut in his face not once but twice.
You continued to watch him be able to properly introduce himself, feeling slight amusement at the moth one that tried to threaten him.
You watched as Alastor summoned "Husk" and "Niffty" to help with the hotel. You hadn't properly met them, but you knew who they were, and that Alastor trusted them to get this job done.
It wasn't one that called for your skills, so you were left to watch on in the staff.
This was the routine for the next while. You would remain in the staff for most of the day, watching everything play out. You almost jumped out when you saw "Sir Pentious" rip off part of Alastor's coat, ready to rip his throat out, but you refrained when you remembered that this was nothing Alastor wouldn't enjoy to do himself.
When the day was over, Alastor would head to his radio tower and summon you. You two would sit around talking for what felt like hours before you had to return. You both already knew practically everything about the other, but you two still told each other of the ones you've maimed to get where you are in power.
The first time he had called you out of his staff was not long after the cape incident. According to Alastor, Pentious had been allowed to stay at the hotel, claiming to want to be redeemed, your job was to find what he actually wanted.
It seemed pretty obvious from the start that it was a front, but when you became a shadow and witnessed him setting up a camera for Vox, an old rival of Alastor, you were a little surprised that they were seriously trying to use him. He honestly didn't seem the brightest for how advanced his tech truly was.
You hardly got a chance to relay the information to Alastor before you spotted "Angel", another person you had watched carefully (you felt like you would like them for some reason, even after they made Alastor uncomfortable) bust into the room, quickly overpowering Pentious. The snake reflexively opened his hood, causing the spider demon to stumble.
You once again were very close to jumping out to attack Pentious when you felt a ghost of Alastor's hand holding you back.
He didn't want for you to be revealed yet.
So you sat back and watched the rest unfold, only finally coming out when everyone had left and Alastor walked in. He walked over and grabbed a watch Pentious had dropped on the ground, you following close behind.
After he finished disposing of the watch, he turned to you.
"I have a new task for you, my dear. Keep a close eye on those pesky Vee's, they're getting a little too comfortable messing with the hotel. We can't have that, now can we?"
His signature grin looked a little strained at the moment, but you paid no mind to it, he would tell you if you needed to know.
You bowed your head with a "yes, ofcourse" and went on your way out. You knew where they were already. It would have been more difficult to not see the building.
You disappear into the shadows within the next second, quickly making your way through the quiet parts of the hotel, making sure to stay out of sight.
When you get out of the doors, you make quick work of getting to the large building covered in lights with three "V"s on top. You go through the doors and make your way around the area, again staying out of prying eyes and pesky cameras. When you finally reach a room that appears to have all three residing in it, you see a shit show.
*Vox's third pov*
"WHAT THE FU-SWHUCK WAS THAT?!"
βββββ
Yes, this is how I'm ending it for now, I need to get something out and I'm loving this so far and don't want to ruin it by trying to rush it too much.
Have a nice day!
