are you a high school student about to take the apush exam? boy do i have some good news for you
for some reason when i took the apush test in 2018 i decided to make my study guide in the form of a shitpost. im talking bullet points. pop culture references. gen z lingo. its 102 pages long. i ended up getting a 5 on the test and this is literally all the studying i did. i am also now a history major.
but since i remember things better in shitpost form, it worked really well then memorizing dense text. and i know the test hasn't changed that much, so, i thought i would offer it to anyone who needs it.
it spans everything i learned in US 1 and US 2 and goes in chronological order. i haven't read through it in a hot minute but i think that everything in there should make sense. i essentially clown on the us for 100 pages in shitpost form.
so for all of you stressing about the exam on thursday, don't. read a shitpost instead. it will help you.

I just read this super sad post about this girl who’s asexual and married and everyone is basically telling her that she doesn’t deserve her husband/she’s just a prude/she should just do it anyway. So I want to tell you all right now that if people tell you this, or if they tell you you’ll never have a relationship, it is BULLSHIT. My husband is asexual and I’m not. He’s sex repulsed, we don’t have sex, we never have. And it doesn’t matter to me. You know what does? He does. His mental health and wellbeing matter to me. Because he is my best friend and he’s one of the smartest, kindest, funniest people I’ve ever met. And he’s had people tel him that he’s broken and it makes me SO ANGRY because they are WRONG. Being different doesnt mean you’re broken. If you don’t like sex/don’t want it/etc. Do not let anyone tell you that you’re inferior because you’re not. Do not let anyone convice you that you’ll never have a relationship because they’re wrong(if you want one). You are not broken, and it will be okay.
AND a race one since the most affected regions will be Africa, Asia and Oceania

please i really need help, i havent had anything substantial to eat in days now and i’m having brain fog. i need just a couple dollars and i can eat. i haven’t been able to get my medication or HRT for months now and i feel miserable. i got my car totaled in a head on collision by a speeding driver in February of this year that left me in debt and permanently with chronic pain + being a really, really traumatic experience. i live alone and i’m very, very behind on rent and i have nowhere to go since my parents kicked me out when they found out i was trans. i’m honestly really, really scared and i don’t know how stuff is going to work out for me here.

ive been putting it off for literal years but i finally made a g0fundm3 for my top surgery 😔 💕
this surgery would be literally life saving for me. my dysphoria and depression have gotten so bad that even leaving my house or looking in the mirror or taking care of myself is an extreme challenge. im looking to get a double mastectomy (no nipple grafts) and this is about what itll cost me. i have a part time job right now but its only $13/hr and as short as my hours are right now, they just got cut. anything helps at all i cant thank you guys enough for the friendship and support you’ve always given me. all my money has to go to my phone & prescription bills, groceries, etc and my dysphoria really challenges my mental health every day. thank you guys so much 🥺💖

Ancestry & Culture: An alternative to Race in 5e
I just got my physical copy of this wonderful tome by Arcanist Press! It has a great introduction that explains why the use of the term “Race” in our beloved role-playing games is so problematic, and then offers a great solution for it that fits right in-between existing 5e rules.
We’ve been looking for a good alternative to “Race” for the character options we publish on our patreon, and we’re now going to do some tests to see if this model is something we could use.

I think that one of the funniest things about the “Earth is a death planet and human’s are space orcs” posts and stuff is that that’s literally a major plot point in Animorphs. Like, the aliens in the series frequently comment on how there is just an extremely excessive amount animals with unique ways to kill or maim you on the planet, and that humans, despite looking fragile and weak in comparison, are scary as shit because they’re stubborn and ruthless and refuse to stop even when any sane species would have given up ages ago. Like there are aliens described as “walking salad shooters” with bladed spikes shooting out all over their bodies, and then you find out that all of that is just so they can harvest tree bark to eat and a whole army of them can be disabled by a single skunk. It is described in loving detail all the different ways a house cat can fuck you up, and don’t even get me started on actual predators and the damage they can do when a ridiculous stubborn, reckless, and creative human brain is what’s controlling them. The alien invaders comment about how they’re going to have to basically kill off 90% of earths species once they win the war because the planet is so damn excessive about this whole ‘murder animals’ thing, and sometimes they’re even like “you know, in hindsight, this is not nearly as easy as we assumed it would be”
Hey y’all! If you don’t know me, my name is Sheena, though I often go by Duessa. I am a queer, nonbinary, disabled freelance artist married to my wonderful spouse, Nick.
Though I really hate to do this, Nick and I are in financial trouble, or more specifically, car trouble. Currently we depend on Nick’s retirement/disability funds in order to pay for bills, food, and medical care. I was supposed to be having surgery later in the summer to help alleviate some of my daily neck and shoulder pain, however something more urgent has happened.
Our car and only source of transportation is dead. The engine is completely dead and would need to be replaced, a costly repair that would take far more time than we have. We live far enough away from all friends and family that getting transportation to doctors appointments and grocery stores would be extremely difficult. We also assist other disabled people with lack of transportation.
We are asking for any aid we can get, whether it is passing a few dollars our way or just spreading the word. The money would be used to two the old, dead car to a lot and help pay for a new one, as well as transportation and medical bills. We have an appointment with a car dealer today (5/23) to discuss payment option, so we do not know yet exactly how much we will need, but I have set it at $3000 currently.
