I know you can read it as platonic, BUT AAAA I ship the hell out of Ella and Tadius, that scene they shared together? It was so funny and sweet. The way they quip at each other, the way Ella clocked him, gave him witty comebacks and that flustered him? The way their personalities clash because they’re both so smug and smart? The way he fumbled over himself to call her pretty and was willing to let her leave? The way they both are tortured souls who have murderous agenda’s? The way Tadius was eager to find her, and got so offended when someone called her a witch? AND THE WAY HE ADMITS THAT HE KILLED THE KING SO SHE COULD TAKE OVER THE THRONE? My god they shared like…2 small scenes but the chemistry was CHEMISTRYING YA’LL. Also most people have decided that their ship name is TADMORE AND I LOVE IT.

An appreciation post for the subtle things that helped make Cinderella’s Castle so amazing:

Costumes that hid the mic packs so well (I was looking!)

How artfully the set was constructed so everything was hanging and wired properly

The sheer number of things that could light up independently

The balance of the sounds, especially when reverb and voice modulators were used

The user-friendly design of the puppets (everyone was so fast getting in and out of them!)

The involvement of an intimacy coordinator so everyone could feel safe

The strict mask policy that protected the health of the cast and crew

The sound effects that merged seamlessly with the on stage action (sword clangs, skin suit sounds, etc.)

The props, and the level of effort involved in making them look like heavy rocks, metal swords, body parts, etc.

The synchronized timing with the music cues, with not a single note or light or entrance off beat

The collaboration that had to happen in the creative team to make all of the colors, textures, and aesthetics match
