if you want to raise this money via GOFUNDME it has to be arranged by someone who is NOT living in Palestine because GFM does not release money to Palestine. GFM also verifies every detail so it has to be accurate so you need someone who is out of Palestine and also familiar with the bureaucracy.

once you raise the money one of your FIRST ORDER RELATIVES have to deposit this money IN CASH and IN PERSON at the Cairo offices of a company called hala. this person cannot be a Palestinian male under 40 because they are not allowed to be Egypt without a permit

once you pay the money you have to WAIT for your names to be published by Egyptian military at the Rafah crossing and the you have 24 hours to get out

it is a very long and convoluted process that is impossible for most Palestinians who do not have contacts in other counties. Please please donate to the GFMs you see floating around because they’ve been verified and this is only the first step in an arduous journey. Once in Cairo, Palestinians aren’t allowed to work so they need money for their support also.

winter is returning to gaza which means white phosphorous acid rain, polio infected sewage flooding, and bitter cold with no shelter. tents are not enough.

siraj's family has 10 children in it, many under the age of 12, two newborns, and two elderly people who are susceptible to disease. his mother has diabetes, which anyone knows needs frequent monitoring and medical care. he and his family just recovered from skin infections and he doesn't want to see them suffer from all the disease the winter will bring.

siraj found a place to rent but its 1400 CAD a month. the lease lasts 6 months - he needs to raise $8400 CAD / $6253 USD as soon as possible before winter gets really ugly so he can secure his family's safety.

siraj is trying to rebuild his life. he doesn't want to let the zionist entity kick him out. he's staring this genocide in the face and telling them he doesn't care what they do, he's not leaving.

yet, he's really far from his goal. and things are moving really slowly. i don't know how many times i can repeat this same information. things change but the brutality of what they face stays the same.

They've been so lovely and just a genuine sweetheart, and they've been talking to me in-between asking for help with their campaign. Dear friends, it's time to act now. For decades, Israel has committed war crimes against Palestinians—starting in Jenin over twenty years ago, continuing in Gaza, and still happening today. These atrocities have been carried out at every checkpoint, with every bomb dropped on hospitals, schools, and refugee camps, fully aware of the consequences. Right now, over two million people are trapped, deprived of food and water, and bombarded daily. International law has become meaningless, as Western countries continue to supply Israel with weapons and support instead of holding them accountable. If we do not act now, the Palestinian people risk being erased. My friend Falastin's family is enduring this nightmare.
