tma is a show which spends the first 100 episodes going "look at these monsters. aren't they fucked up. yeah and they're all so happy being monsters who hurt people monstrously" and then the protagonist who you've spent hours listening to at this point becomes one of those fucked up monsters, forcing you to either dismiss him as evil or you have to fully change how you view all the previous monsters. and then they spend the next 100 episodes dealing with that

Fan animation of Jonathan Sims, also known as the Archivist from The Magnus Archives Podcast. The Archivist looks into the distance, then turns his head towards the camera revealing a white abstract eye staring at the viewer from the right half of his face which is drenched in shadow. On his right side a spiderweb connecting his ear and his shoulder is being stretched as a small dot runs along it into his ear canal. As he turns away the camera zooms into the abstract eye. We see a tape spinning. As we move through the spools in the tape we zoom in on The Archivist and the loop starts again.
