Okay so this reminds me of something actually, My friend and his wife have two kids, really sweet angels both of them, let's just, call the oldest one (and the one we're focusing on) "A." So here's the thing about "A" right? Really shy, uptight, he's not the type of kid who talks a lot, or really makes friends. So when he did ask people things, it usually meant a whole lot. One of these instances, starting "A" was eight he would always ask for people's signatures, giving them a little piece of paper to write on. Seeing as it was a kid, most everybody went along with it, thinking it was really cute that he looked up to everyone around him. One day, on the kid's 14th birthday I picked out a nidoran plushie for him, (mostly irrelevant to the story but it won me a lot of brownie points.) So as I'm in his room, placing it along with "A's" other plushies, the kid turns to me and asks if I want to see something. Curious and whimsical soul that I am, I say yes, and "A" opens up a drawer with dozens of notebooks. I'm taking notebooks that go all the way to the top of the dresser itself. There is just, piles and piles of these things, and he looks at me, taking one from the top and. Holy. Shit. There is a fucking catalogue of signatures. "A" flips through the book, and there's just, pages and pages of signatures copied down signatures, SIGNATURES HE STOLE. There must've been 50 lines of my signature alone. what am I even fucking supposed to say to that I think he got anxious with my staring and put it back. I think he just, switched topics after that to the plushie, still no idea what I should make of this tbh
