Not crying. Not crying. NOT CRYING. NOT CRY-- D-MMIT!

Seriously, though, I just saw a post about how adult cats are rejected so often for things like this. There was apparently a three-legged cat that a girl found, and her father REFUSED because the cat was "broken".

A "broken" animal is complete BS. There's no such thing, and adult cats waiting for adoption will adore you when you give them enough kindness, patience, and respect for their boundaries.

I'm not saying kittens don't deserve to be loved, quite the opposite! It's just too many adult cats are overlooked for the DUMBEST reasons.

If you feel like you can't handle a particular adult cat, then don't put pressure on yourself to get them. Pets ARE a lot of responsibility and you should take them seriously because what you do shapes their quality of life.

But if you can take care of one just think about what you can do for them. You can make them feel loved and safe and happy, should you have the will to do so. And they will show you how grateful they are, if you do things right.

this is amazing 🐈 ♥️♥️

How Dare You.

How dare you.

How dare you!

HOW DARE YOU INSPIRE ME TO CREATE A STORY WITH A SERVANT SUN AS A PROTAGONIST! I CONDEMN THEE, MEAGANCANDRAW!

... Okay, okay, I'm done with the bit. XD

Seriously, though, I wish this could have made it through. I fully agree with what @thespookiestprincessofthemall said.

Also, the librarian look is so charming and fitting, and with the mix of the broken rays and anxious face--it's almost like Eclipse set him up to have a professional-looking outfit to make S. Sun feel like he's been given something good, but the rays and look of misery are firm reminders of Eclipse's cruelty and regular abuse towards him. And the pendant? A reminder for Sun, and anybody who sees him, that he's forever trapped as Lord Eclipse's "servant" (coughtslavecough). That he has no choice but to be loyal because Eclipse spared his life. That this is S. Sun's purpose in life so he'd BETTER stay in line.

Some Trivia About Today's SAMS Video: I Was Originally Supposed To Be The Thumbnail Artist For The Episode,

Some trivia about today's SAMS video: I was originally supposed to be the thumbnail artist for the episode, but I ended up doing yesterday's instead. By that point, however, I had already come up with a concept for Servant Sun's "official" thumbnail design

I liked how it came out enough that I wanted to share it anyway. Think of it as a rare look at scrapped/cut SAMS content lol

Okay, phew, thank you! I just hope the other rebloggers here are okay about it, too. Part of me wants to... what's the term? "@ them"? You know, like @ikamigami. That most likely would get their attention, but it feels like it's in bad taste to do that just so they can read my apology.

Also, as heartbreaking as that episode is from Solar's POV, I just couldn't take Nexus' attitude seriously by itself. When he said "NOTHING MAKES SENSE! WE don't make sense! TO EXIST!" all I could think of was a sarcastic "Oh, he's a philosopher now, too". Heh.

Oh, Nexus is such an awful liar~ :)

He said that he only cared about Solar but he didn't say anything about killing Sun hmm I wonder why :)

He's definitely jealous of Moon and thinks that Sun chose Moon over him - I was right :)

And also "you'll go back to that mean Sun" hello?! Xhjxjdjdjnxxjnd

And that straight threat that he will blast Moon's head off.. oh Nexus Nexus :)

Sweet little silly Nexus that is corrupted by negative energy :)

Your lies don't work on me :)

How to Create A Villain

The best villains? They don’t even see themselves as the bad guys. They’re 100% convinced that what they’re doing is right, even if it’s messed up. Maybe they’re trying to “save the world” by doing something super questionable, or they think enforcing strict rules is the only way to keep society in check. They truly believe they’re the hero of their own story, which makes them way more interesting and real.

And Yeah, your villain might want power, but the real question is: Why? Were they humiliated in the past and now want control? Did they grow up powerless and now crave it to avoid being vulnerable again? When you dig into their backstory and show us why they’re doing horrible things, it makes them a lot more relatable—even if they’re totally wrong.

Flat, one-note villains are boring. If your antagonist is going to stick with people, they need depth. Show us what’s going on under the surface. Maybe they lie awake at night, doubting their choices, or they’re still haunted by a massive failure that’s pushing them toward their goal. A villain with personal struggles and vulnerabilities feels way more human and way harder to fully

A great Villain doesn’t just fight the hero, they reflect them. They might have totally different goals, but at their core, they share similar traits, maybe ambition, stubbornness, or a tragic backstory. When the hero looks at the villain, they should see a bit of themselves, and that’s what makes the conflict between them so intense.

When the villain finally goes down, it should feel big. Their defeat shouldn’t just be a fight, it should hit them emotionally. Ideally, their downfall comes from their own flaws, maybe they got too arrogant or made a mistake because of their obsessive goal. The best villain defeats leave the audience feeling a little sad or conflicted, not just happy for the hero’s win.
