Look at my precious mascot-looking baby

So fierce. So smol. When he evolves and gets the same base stats as your precious Lapras you'll all be sorry

Other than that, we're pretty creative, and while some of us do terrible things, most of us try to do what's right. We kinda disagree on what the right thing to do is at times, but most of us are trying.
Ooc: I guess I can't judge too harshly given how long it took me to get Honchkrows pin name
Do you think that a person's choice in partner pokémon reflects who they are as a person?
while people do sometimes relate to the pokemon they catch and raise, i think you have to be careful about making general statements like that. it's too easy to upset someone by comparing them to their pokemon.
such comparisons have also, unfortunately, been used to discriminate against people throughout history. for example, for many centuries dark type trainers immigrating to kanto from johto were unfairly targeted by law enforcement. because dark types have long been stereotyped as malicious and dangerous, and they also aren't super common in kanto, comparing the pokemon to the trainer was used to justify poor treatment of people who were seen as foreigners. it was also a common argument employed by team plasma; they even had a list of pokemon on their website that they claimed were only trained by trainers who were inclined to abuse their pokemon or use their pokemon for criminal acts. they recommended the euthanasia of any of these pokemon when they were "seized" (stolen) from their trainers.
if somebody does say that they picked their pokemon because they feel like they share a lot in common with their pokemon, that's fine. it's just not something that i'd say is always or even usually the case.
Been listening to some Blue Cloyster Cult. First CD I ever got.
