Peak Tim and Jason dynamic is where they love each other but can't fucking stand each other. They'd die for each other but are each other's literal last choices when it comes down to who to voluntarily spend time with. They find solidarity in being "black sheep in a family of black sheep" (canon quote btw) and "family fuck-ups" but regularly ruthlessly mock each other and think the other is lame as shit. They're not close in the slightest and hang out outside of missions once every blue moon when they want something out of each other or stumble across each other and have no other plans. They don't speak for months then break into each other's houses, eat the other's food, and have a surprisingly deep conversation about their relationship and life. They hate each other. They're brothers.

These are explained perfectly. These are exactly how i feel about Dickbabs too. It's a typical boring ship that holds back the characters instead of letting them grow up and move forward with other people Nothing new or exciting about it.
