[MC x Malleus] Slumbering Beauty

Upon awaking everything was brightly colored. Well as bright as white and white flowers could be. I presses myself upwards just to get hit by glass. I was in a glass coffin-why?

I shoved it off the sound of glass shattering alerted servant near by which panicked calling for others but not daring to enter the chambers.

If I wasn't so confused I'd probably think the high vaulted ceilings and lovely bonquets of flowers growing upon its walls were pretty. Looking down at the coffin I realized I'm in white clothing and it's in a style I've never seen before. I step out to feel water with my toes. Little streams of water had cracked the marble. I cringed thinking this place looked like a memorial more than anything.

I quickly push myself to the large wooden doors slamming them open. It seemed like the servants weren't expecting me as they were panicking and ringing a bell. Who knows what for.

Malleus had been rushing down the hallway with a joyful Lilia. I sneer at both of them, "what the hell did you do, Malleus?" I demand my voice cold and angry memories from before had poured back into my mind.

*"You can't be serious Mal-Mal. I don't want to break your heart. I'm sorry for leading you on. But I don't return your feelings." The draconic fae was stunned at my words. I wanted to ease him pain but be truthful. As much as I cherished him I wasn't in-love. Honestly i doubted if it was even an emotion I could create. "Is it because of someone else? Please Y/N! I'll do anything!" I shook my head turning away from him just as he catches my wrist. "I'm sorry but I can't let you go." His words were whispered and before I could say anything I was drowsy and fell into the black*

"My Treasure your awake! And even earlier than expected. If I had know there would have been a feast prepared to welcome you back." He was like a golden retriever, I shook my head at him. "No. You idiotic male! What have you done! How long was I asleep!" I marched closer Lilia put any arm up just for Malleus to knock it away unafraid of myself. "I put you to sleep. It's only been a century. Like the stories you read of the slumbering beauty." He was taller than me but that didn't me i couldn't reach his face. A sharp clap and string from my hand caused others to gasps. "Ignorant fool." I snarled balling my first. "You don't mess with a human life cycle. You don't just put someone to sleep cause you want to possess them! You've ruined my life because of your need to possess." I could feel the power rising up, fire from the light torches danced and flickered. "I'm not much more behind than I was originally." I snapped my fingers a clipboard arrived, "How? Your a magicless human?"

"No. I never was. You fell in love with a thing that never existed. You fell for a lie, Malleus." I pointed my fingers at the ring on his hand, "and it would be your downfall." With a quick spell I bound his advanced magic. Letting my fire engulf me to vanish from Briar Valley forever.

Happy birthday Malleus!! Just have a bit of angst to offset the more sugary writings that I've been loving!

He would totally pocket things of yours. Not big things but like hair ties, hair clips, pencils, pens, and other small items that you many not notice right away but made him think of you.

Of course he'd leave something in exchange. I think small shiny rocks or ones with fun shapes. Just imagine putting them in a window sill in your bedroom.

Rocks would gradually turn into geodes and geodes into gems. Gems to jewelry (and of course a ring. Cause you betcha he's not letting you go).
