Your father and Susan had started to drink heavily. Susan was a sad drunk and cried most nights, but your father was an angry drunk, although that wasn’t a surprise to anyone. Neil had lost his job in the weeks after Billy’s death, unable to deal with the loss of his only son.

He was acting like he loved, Billy. Acting like he hadn’t been beating him a few days before he died. Acting like he actually missed his son, when he had spent his entire life drilling into Billy how much he hated him and how disappointed he was with him.

It took a lot of effort to crawl across the floor to that table. Your ribs were screaming at you to stop, but you kept going and grabbed the metal scissors off the table and frantically started cutting away at the rope around your ankles.

Yk what I just realized at first I was kind of upset because I thought that Eddie’s death was like unreasonable and there was no reason for him to die but now that I think about it if Eddie climbed the rope and went to the other side the bats would’ve followed him through the portal and it would’ve ended up killing probably Dustin and him in the process and the bats probably would’ve escaped into the real world and started killing people in the real world so Eddie’s instinct to led the bats away was to save Dustin and also his uncle and potentially the other people that could’ve gotten killed so he’s really a hero in the end 😓

 (Spoilers for volume two) BRO I WAS RIGHT LIKE THE BAT TATTOO’S ARE HOW EDDIE DIES AHHHH BEEN CRYING ALL DAY LOL 😭😭😭😭

Honestly something I just noticed was that Eddie’s tattoos kind of represent like what’s happening so far in the show,like for example on his arm he has like bats like the ones in the upside down and there’s also one where it’s like a creature that’s getting pulled by strings I thought that was kind of odd I don’t know how it connects to the show but kind of weird
