Welcome to some old art from 2017 from when I was working on ‘The Legend of the Three Caballeros"! I drew this after getting an invite to a Cinco De Mayo party a friend was holding. I didn’t know what Cinco De Mayo was so after some researching and realizing many people didn’t know the history behind the day, I was inspired XD 

 I made two versions because I couldn’t decide which one I liked better.

TODAY IS CINCO DE MAYO AND THAT'S A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO

Use the hashtag to let everyone know our subway collapsed in an overpass. It was due to negligence, despite some of the media saying it was thanks to a vehicle crashing. This let 25 deaths and dozens of injured people.

THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME THIS HAPPENS. Just last week people had to get down the cars and walk through the tunnels due to the train now working. In 2020 two trains crashed, leaving a toll of 1 death and 41 injured.

In january, there was a fire in one of the subway's electrical substation, the results were one death and 29 injured.

The worst about this? People had asked for mantainance to this part of the subway, since it was evident it had damages and wasn't safe.

Our subway is not safe. The victims were the working class, returning from work during a pandemic.

It wasn't an accident. It was negligence.

Just a heads up right now: on the day when Trump dies, I’m going to be extremely tasteless about it. It’s going to get ugly. You are going to see a side of me I am not proud of. I don’t want any call-outs in my inbox, I’m stating right now that lines will be crossed.
