God of War Ragnarok has me thinking about some more greek/norse mythology lately

Just had a massive big brain bkg idea, writing it rn 🤤🤤

「BNHA Boys being your first kiss」

⤷ Bakugou

whenever the moment got more intimate, he could feel you stiffen and try to change the subject. so when he confronted you about it, you had no option but to tell him why you were so nervous around him. he wouldn’t be surprised or laugh at you - after all, he would never judge you, but honestly he would be confident about it; he likes to be your first. something about it is so exciting and cute to him; he likes to teach you things and guide you so this would be the perfect situation. he tells you not to worry and that everything will be fine; he respects your time and space and has all the patience and love in the world to teach you. and, after the kiss, he smiles a little while caressing your cheek, “you are truly amazing”

⤷ Deku

he would be so nervous even before you told him he was going to be your first kiss; he wants your relationship to take it one step further, but the thought of being so intimate with you makes his heart race and his palms sweat. but, after so long, he finally confesses to you; your feeling is mutual, of course, but you feel very insecure and he can see that you are nervous. when you finally work up the courage to tell him, he feels a little more relieved and just smiles at you, “well, i’ve never kissed anyone either… guess we can practice, right?” he says nervous but with a smile on his face to try to calm you down a bit. and even with the insecurities of the two of you, you do better than you think; your love for each other makes the whole situation lighter and even fun.

⤷ Kirishima

he would be a little surprised when you tell him, but quickly his face lights up; he’s your first and he wants this to be perfect for you. he is careful and kind, respecting your time and doing his best to make you feel calmer. he pulls you towards him and, before he kisses you, he tries to make you more comfortable; caressing your waist, talking to you, making you smile, and mainly, making you forget about your insecurities for a few minutes. he asks permission to kiss you, and when you nod, he kisses you calmly; it’s a passionate, sweet kiss, as if he’s teaching you the right moves to make while trying to show all his love for you.

⤷ Todoroki

he would completely understand your nervousness and would never make you do something you don’t want to. so he would kiss you when the time was right and only after you told him you wanted him to. he wants it to be special for you as he knows this is a big moment for you; so he does everything possible to make that feeling and that moment special for both of you.

⤷ Denki

he would be so excited about it that he couldn’t hide his excitement. this is the cutest thing in the world to him and he can’t wait to be your first. this thought is so amusing that it ends up spoiling the beginning a little; he can’t stop smiling and you feel a little insecure but he’s quick to help you get rid of those bad thoughts. he confesses that he just thinks the situation is cute and you understand, still embarrassed. but he just kisses you again, this time with more tranquility and love. his hands sliding from your neck to your cheek - which makes you melt a little against him.

⤷ Tamaki

he would be really shy about it because he hasn’t kissed many people either and before you told him he was going to be your first kiss he was scared of screwing it up. but after your nervous confession, he relaxes a little, but not enough to make his cheeks return to their normal color. despite all the anxious thoughts you two have, he does much better than he thought he would; as soon as his lips touch yours, he feels all his nerves melt away and all he can think about is kissing you again. (and again and again.)

⤷ Shinsou

he wouldn’t show it much, but he would be very nervous. of course he wants to make this moment unforgettable for you, but he’s afraid he won’t be able to and will end up ruining things. so in the end, it would be you who would be trying to calm the situation; making small talk or exchanging a few caresses before one takes the courage to start the kiss. he would take a deep breath once, twice before finally kissing you; the kiss is simple, delicate and gentle; but it doesn’t fail to make you have butterflies in your stomach.

⤷ Hawks

he would laugh at first, but not at you; he just thinks it’s all so sweet and can’t wait to be your first kiss - and also because he noticed you acting a little strange at first and thought he’d done something wrong. he would be kind to you; taking you on a perfect date and trying his best to make you forget about your insecurities. he would approach slowly, caress your hand, hug you and kiss your cheek and the corner of your lips before finally kissing your lips. he kisses you once, twice before placing his forehead on yours and smiling saying “you’re everything i ever dreamed of, did you know that?”

⤷ Dabi

he doesn’t judge you - and never would - but he likes to tease you a little. he thinks the whole situation is so cute and precious and knowing that he’s going to be your first kiss makes his ego inflate. but, before he can kiss you, he makes you tell him exactly what you want.

“what do you want, dear? my lips? oh, where do you want them?”

⤷ Shigaraki

he would be shocked at first because honestly he was hoping you would teach him how to kiss. well, he hasn’t kissed many people in his life and he doesn’t want to ruin this moment that’s so important for you two, so he just can’t make the first move. it takes a while for you to have your first kiss; you would be the one to pull him in and put your lips on his. he is paralyzed at first, not knowing what to do. but when he feels your hand on his neck, on his shoulder, he melts. having you so close and so intimate makes him feel like he’s on cloud nine; he kisses you back in the sweetest, most passionate way he can and that makes you both fall in love with each other instantly.

There’s a protest going on against AI art over on artstation, so I feel like now is the time for me to make a statement on this issue! 

I wholeheartedly support the ongoing protest against AI art. Why? Because my artwork is included in the datasets used to train these image generators without my consent. I get zero compensation for the use of my art, even though these image generators cost money to use, and are a commercial product. 

Musicians are not being treated the same way. Stability has a music generator that only uses royalty free music in their dataset. Their words: “Because diffusion models are prone to memorization and overfitting, releasing a model trained on copyrighted data could potentially result in legal issues.” Why is the work of visual artists being treated differently?

Many have compared image generators to human artists seeking out inspiration. Those two are not the same. My art is literally being fed into these generators through the datasets, and spat back out of a program that has no inherent sense of what is respectful to artists. As long as my art is literally integrated into the system used to create the images, it is commercial use of my art without my consent.

Until there is an ethically sourced database that compensates artists for the use of their images, I am against AI art. I also think platforms should do everything they can to prevent scraping of their content for these databases. 

Artists, speak out against this predatory practice! Our art should not be exploited without our consent, and we deserve to be compensated when our art is exploited for commercial use.
