Despite the lack of proper windows or doors to trap the smell, the spicy peppered stew thickening in the cook pot threatened to be overwhelming to the senses, but it worked wonders to keep the couple warm in the cold Tabanthan night. Seated close to the fire, stirring the bubbling concoction to keep it from sticking, Revali’s other wing was kept occupied by the Hylian sat close by, fidgeting with his feathery digits and tracing ticklish patterns against his palm. 

“Is it ready yet?” They ask, absently.

“Not yet, the potatoes still need a bit more time to soften,” he replies, looking over at them, clicking his beak in fond exasperation, “I don’t see what captures your interest so deeply about my flight feathers,” he says, prompting them to laugh sheepishly, smiling down his hand held in hers.
