People are apparently under the impression that reblogging someone’s art and adding a comment is frowned upon and that can’t possibly be true, every artist I know of sees a reblog-comment as like the ultimate definitive reward for their hard work.

Obviously don’t feel bad for NOT adding a comment if you’re shy or just don’t know what to say, but if there’s something you would like to say about a drawing you’ve liked enough to reblog, I’m pretty sure most artists crave hearing it.

had a strange inspiration to draw purple in a more fandom way so i dug up an old design i made while trying to figure out how i'd draw the sticks and used it as reference for my first design. then i ran and fell over spilling all my aus on the floor full versions under the cut with some info on the aus and design choices

i added the eye and wings for funsies. originally meant to be more of an explorer outfit. i gave him the blanket as well bc i love to draw his elytra as one. the purple in his hair is the same purple i used for the original design.

He doesn't actually originally have a crown in this au, i just thought it'd look cool. This au was made after ep 29 and before ep 30 in November, I believe. it was mostly to explore the more manipulative side of King, having purple doubt his every move, and even who he is. In the endings where he lives with king to any capacity, purple is manipulated into thinking he is gold (this part was added post ep 30 obv) and is made to do king's chores. this is part of why his hair style is different. his clothes were also meant to be a bit small on him, since i hc gold as 12 when he died and purple as 15-16. fun fact! my second most liked image at the time of posting features the bad end of this au. Oh! I also gave him a cape when he's with king to go with the royalty theme :)

LitGas was "what if what King said in gaslight really happened?" then soliddark was the same except it was more of a villainswap. The glass of water is based off a scene in the amv for gaslight that i'm working on for animation class, where after purple's water is drugged, he drinks it and he grows more paranoid. the bird wings were for fun, and the bite marks were bc his hand was so close to his mouth. plus, i had a nervous habit of biting a lot when i was younger.

AvbS is a swap au (obv). here, purple is swapped with green, becoming a main part of the cast, and replacing him, which comes up later during the king arc (now the prince arc, with gold). I believe he's still meant to be 15, just with. less trauma lmao. the big crown is bc he is small and he is the baby of the group so i gave him comfy clothing.

AvU is my undertale crossover fic on ao3. Here, Purple is 17, since this was started before i made my age hcs, and i had everyone else at 18, making him the youngest of the sticks. It was also started back in august. I gave him a rat's tail for fun. He has smaller, older clothes, since they were worn by previous fallen children. he's often dragged underground by flowey, so he's extra dirty and bandaged. flowey does care about him, though, so he gets fixed up before his never shown fight with asgore. i never wrote it lmao. They were also put there while I was thinking about this artwork i did. most of the sketchiness was me struggling to make him look older lmao

Technically a spin off of one of gaslight's endings, where he runs away from king, but also works as it's own thing with correct background. Crown is from gaslight, ofc, as well as his other clothing. I decided to play with the idea of giving him more princely clothing, though, with him holding the elytra blanket as a comfort item. i also drew him playing with blocks once and i thought it was cute so i made it a trait. The orphanage au has him running from king after manipulation and going to stick city, where he turns himself in at an orphanage. He meets a bunch of sticks there and it's mostly lighthearted and about him learning to trust again. He's also labelled as 16, a year older than what i hc him, to show that time has passed.
