   Steve’s hands traced your thighs with reverie as he sat on your bed with you between his spread legs. He loved the way you felt beneath his calloused artists’ hands. He had always said you were his dream made flesh and he worshiped you as such. But now? It was one of the many times you wish you didn’t have his attention. His fingers slipped up the legs of your silken pajama shorts and you shivered.

“Where were you today, doll?” His voice was soft as if to avoid frightening you. You weren’t in trouble. You never were, because it could all be some great misunderstanding.

“I was out with a friend.” Which was the truth. You had gone out with a friend today—without telling anyone. And you had left your phone on silent, so you had missed Steve’s 17 calls and 23 texts. You had him running around the city all day today, worrying him sick and honestly a part of you felt guilty, but the more rational part knew that this wasn’t right and that no one deserved to be on such a tight leash.

“Why didn’t you tell anyone?” he rested his head against your stomach with a sigh as he worked your ass.

“I…forgot.” Did you?

He looked up at you then, and in his eyes, you saw sadness. He just wanted to give you the best—be the best for you and all you had to do was offer a bit of consideration. Couldn’t you see how lovesick he was for you? Couldn’t you take a bit of responsibility for that?

Giving your ass one final squeeze he summoned his resolve and leaned back, presenting his lap to you.

“Come on, doll.”

Shame burned your cheeks. You couldn’t do this! You were an adult, but your trembling hands and legs laid you across his lap anyway. You didn’t feel like fighting tonight and maybe this could all be over soon.

“So good for me.” Steve murmured, brushing some hair from your face so he could see your profile as best he could give your position. His other hand rested against your ass and palmed it appreciatively.

His voice was low, a whisper even, “You know this hurts me more than it does you, don’t you doll?”

You took one breath to gather your composure. “Yeah Stevie, I know.”

“I just want you to know I do this all for you.”

And then his hand moved from your ass and back again in a swift strike you weren’t ready for. You nearly bit your tongue when you cried out, hands latching onto his thigh that supported your chest, gripping the jeans tightly to feel unrelenting muscle beneath.

“I’m so sorry, baby.”

And again, this time sharper than the last.

“But I was so worried.”

And again, this time tears sprung free. You had promised yourself you wouldn’t cry again.

“I thought someone had stolen you away from me.”

And again.

“I felt like someone had ripped my heart out of my chest.”

And again.

“The thought of possibly losing you just kills me, baby.”

And again.

“If something happened to you, I’d die. I really would.”

And again, and your vision was starting to go fuzzy.

“So, I have to punish you, I have to teach you to not run off.”

And again.

“The world is big and scary, Y/n. It’s not good enough for someone like you.”

With one last full slap he was done and soothing the bruises as you sobbed weakly.

Steve meant it when he said it hurt him more than it hurt you, because seeing you like this was almost as bad as thinking you were missing. Carefully, he maneuvered you into bed on your stomach and pulled your shorts higher to expose the angry discoloration that made his heart ache.

You buried your face in a pillow as he set to work gently rubbing aloe vera into your skin. Every jolt and whimper absolutely killing him.

“Shh, baby. I’m sorry. I know. Shh, shh.”

He got into bed beside you and tucked you both in. Placing one arm over you and pulling you close; he placed a chaste kiss on your forehead.

“You know I love you, right doll?”

Afterall, he wouldn’t feel the need to punish you if he didn’t.

·      If you failed the labyrinth, Jareth is going to consider you to now belong to him, completely and utterly. In his mind, running the labyrinth was really just a formality, the moment you wished yourself away to the goblins you signed yourself over to him

·      He really didn’t understand why you insisted on running the labyrinth. After all, why did you wish yourself away in the first place if you truly wished to remain in your realm? Besides, trying to solve the labyrinth was a pointless endeavor, there was no way that you would solve it in the time allotted

·      Although, you did have him worried at a few points there. You actually came much closer than Jareth expected, but that only made his victory over you sweeter. At the end of the day, he’s just glad to finally have you here with him.

·      Now that Jareth finally has you in his realm, there are certain things you can expect. For one thing, you can say goodbye to the sort of mortal clothes you wore before. Instead, Jareth will dress you in outfits appropriate for your new home. For girls, this means a lot of beautiful gowns, all in colors so vibrant and silks so soft that you could never have imagined them yourself. For boys, this means a lot of frothy shirts and tight leather pants, much like Jareth wears. Either way, whatever clothes he has you wear will be sure to show off your body, a constant reminder that it now belongs to him

·      Whenever you aren’t right beside him, he’ll have a crystal out so that he can still observe you. He may not actively watch it at all times, but he like to have the option readily available

·      If you happened to make any friends during your quest, Jareth will allow you to see them, IF you behave for him. Meeting with friends is a reward for good behavior in his mind, not a right

·      If you ever get homesick, Jareth won’t really understand. After all, he gives you your very dreams, how could the mortal world ever compare to the love he gives you? But if you insist on missing your previous home, he will try to make you feel better. Perhaps he’ll construct new parts of the labyrinth to look like your old home, or masquerade as someone you were close with there for a bit. These attempts will probably just make you more upset, but in Jareth’s mind, it’s just you being stubborn

·      One thing you can definitely count on though, whether you have been behaving or not, is Jareth singing you to sleep each night. If you’ve been good, he sees it as a reward, and he’ll hold you tight as the two of you lay in bed while he sings into your ear. If you’ve been bad, he’ll visit you in the oubliette you’ve been confined in and sing to remind you just what you’re refusing by behaving like that in an attempt to get you to submit to him
