Jake(Courier): ?? why do you need fancy alien tech for your counters??

Remy: I banned Wade and Logan from the kitchen, but they still managed to bust up my poor marble counter

Jake: ,,, how exactly did they do that?

Remy: Logan pounced on Wade during a zoomies session and managed to put a crack in it :(

Jake: what the hell are you feeding them?

Remy: ?? Lots of meat because they’ll whine and beg if I don’t

Jake: um have you considered putting them on a diet or exercising them more?

Remy: they used to eat just beer and pancakes/chimichangas so this is progress

Remy: also they exercise plenty, i’m pretty sure they have their own danger room sequence for when the zoomies hit

Scott: Remy why did I just look through the search history of one of our computers and find a series of searches on how much catnip to give based on weight and why did you try and ask how much to give for 300 pounds

Jason would wear tanker boots.

Forget the obsession with laced combat boots and all those other military grade footwear. Jason wouldn't wear laces. They're impractical. They're flammable. They're dangerous. That was the only good thing about the og Robin suit.

He'd have tanker boots. With straps and buckles. They're made to be easier to remove, and that can be a simple comfort if he's coming back home injured and just wants to get out of the heavy getup. Or y'know, if he rolls an ankle on wild bat stunts and it swells.

They also have better circulation! Tankers can spend a lot of time sitting. Jason's not a stranger to long stake outs either.

Anyway, tanker boots.

Yes, even in the shrubbery of a garden, or a park, the possibilities are limitless if you have some patience to look and wait.

Bond with the dirt, go dig up some worms, find the little slippery skinks, and perhaps make friends with a toad.

Perhaps you can appreciate the hues of the sky as the sun sets, wake up early enough to watch the sunrise and to feel the morning dew.

What could be simple additions to your routine if you make the time could bring that whimsy you are looking for.

Not to sound like a fuckin hippie but please for the love of god start noticing and appreciating the natural world around you. You don’t have to go hike the entire Appalachian trail or anything and I get that not everyone has access to the outdoors for various reasons, but just fucking … look around you when you’re outside. Notice the sky and the sun and the birds and creatures. Start caring about them. I’m begging you.
