Wednesday, October 28th: Hi everyone, I’m Gemma, a bi, mentally ill disaster, who’s in desperate need of help right now. I have had to remake this post as my last one has lost traction, and as many of you already know from my previous post, my dog was attacked last Friday (October 23rd).

My dog is called Luna, she is a 12 year old mixed breed with the loveliest temperament ever and has the notion that everyone is her best friend. She’s curious about other animals, but doesn’t bark/growl at them and she was raised around a lot of children, so she’s a very happy dog and my only companion. 

The dog that attacked her was a Japanese Akita, that is usually locked up in the owners back garden as it always barks at people and is quite volatile, when it attacked, it took a small chunk out of her right side and she needed emergency surgery. Ending in 3 small wounds. 

Since the attack, I’ve tried to get in touch with the owners of the Akita and talk to them about the situation, when I finally did, I showed them the bill and they stated that seeing as my dog was on a retractable lead, it’s my fault and they’ve agreed to only pay half of the vet bill. 

It’s been a really difficult week, the Vet is another town over and as I don’t drive,  I’ve had to get taxis to and from the Vet with Luna. We have another appointment on Tuesday, November 3rd to have her stitching removed, I don’t have an approximation on how much that bill will cost, but any help would be appreciated. 

If anyone could spare any amount to help me, even if it’s just £1/$1/€1, it would literally save my dog, and sharing definitely helps just as much as donations. Nobody is obligated in any way to donate if they can’t or don’t want to, I know we’re all struggling right now.

I think knowing that your normal look can be taken for a Hallows eve costume kinda sucks haha, he’d wanna be able to experience the fun of making a costume.

I loved the OSHA design! I changed the colors to match the Safety Diamond, which indicates the hazards associated with an area or material. This may have been a mistake, given the amount of white, but I love how it turned out! After spending dozens of hours on this joke, I’ll be hanging it up in my lab when I get the chance.
