Gained weight during quarantine... time to get back out there.

Sir. After a long evaluation period (4 years) my Dad offered me his collar. Dad is an extremely well respected Dom in many cities like NYC, Chicago, Vegas and SF just to name a few. My training is done by deep hypnosis and I seem to take to it well. My fear is that I am not living up to standards folks have put on Dad. He says I'm doing "fine" but nothing more then that. Could I be doing something better? He's trained me to be totally dependent on cigars. I just don't know what else I can do.

The hardest standards are the ones we put on ourselves. That said if you respect this man his word should be taken as absolute truth, if he tells you you are doing fine, then you are. You were not offered a collar, you earned it. If you continually question if you are good enough when you have been told you are this could be considered immaturity, neediness disrespect, disobedience...

Have patience, he’s likely undoing a lifetime of bad habits and facing an uphill battle of social norms, expectations and prejudgment you have inherited from these people around you, none of whom were good enough to wear that collar. I’m sure he would be disappointed to hear you say you’re not meeting standards other people have put on him, a dom sets his own standards, no one else’s matter.
