Moonlight Bay 1.0 - Console to PC World FIXED BETA

Made with all EPs and SPs installed, but no objects/decor/outfits/etc were used besides outfoor outfits for Seasons

Built on Patch 1.97 on FitGirl's Repack version of TS3

Fixes a variety of issues, from broken text to unplaced community lots (changelog included in a text file)

Minimal Store Content (included in the download)

NRAAS MasterController, Cheats, ErrorTrap, Overwatch, Tagger, Buckley's No More Gloves with Outerwear and some Store Content were the only mods used when fixing the town.

Only edits to the premades were changing their appearance to better represent their console versions

This is a SAVE file, so be sure to copy the save before you play in it.

This is my first ever contribution to the Sims 3 community, so if there are any issues PLEASE let me know so I can try to fix it.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Download the original world.

Download the SAVE and put this in "\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Saves"

Download the MODS used and put in "\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages"

Hi guys!! just to want you guys know. my discord account (@fwaldorf) has been hacked/compromised. i was a victim of fraud by a user here in the community. under the nickname of BlakeIsHere he was on LazyDuchess discord server and i previously talked to him before in 2022 i think, and we talked about sims and strangetown. 💀I don´t have access to my profile anymore so i can´t show you guys screenshots of the conversation and i didn´t take any since i never thought it would end up in this.

If you can help me with reblogs i´ll be grateful!

He contacted me because he made a "report" thinking i was a scammer since the person who talked to him has a similar photo i had, he told me that i needed to contact austin.elo0305 to make the appeal to my account. You guys probably think i was stupid i really was tbh, i h8 myself because of it but i gave that austin dude access to my profile since i thought he was a official discord member. Then, he threatened me if i don´t pay him for a security key on G2A my bank information will be compromised and i will end up in prision and blockment since i didn´t pay. That scared me, tbh. I pay it. Then, he asked for more and obviously i didn´t pay. He sent my personal bank information and they tried to charge the card but i didn´t had anything there thank god i censored my personal information, ofc

Please, if someone can help me to report to both accounts, BlakeIsHere and the austin.elo0305 i´ll be completely grateful. He is asking for more money for access to my old account 💀

It´s very fucked up that a member of this community made this kind of thing. But okay, people on internet can be this harmful. Please, keep in mind that any member of Discord will not try to change your login information and take care!

🎈 A little gift for the 20th birthday of the Sims 2! 🎁

Love Strangetown, but tired of playing the same stories over and over? Well, here's a brand new version of Strangetown for you to sink your teeth into! 🏜️

A few years ago I made a series of pictures around the concept of the Strangetown premades, but with their backstories shuffled around to make new stories. A few times now people have asked if it's a real neighbourhood they can download so, well, now it is!

Features:

Same sims, different stories: General Buzz is now the mysterious widower of 13 Dead End Lane, Loki Beaker lives on 2 Cover Up Road with his wife and sister and is expecting an alien baby, Pollination Tech #9 is now in the military, and so on!

New relationships: Olive Specter and Glabe Curious have a rivalry that dates back to high school, Chloe and Ripp are dating, Glarn and PT9 are old enemies, and more!

Some changes to the canon timeline, for example Glarn still being alive and his abduction being more recent. There are other tweaks, too, like the teens all being a little younger.

Brand new lots for every household, combining their old and new aesthetics

Main hood install instructions: Unzip STSW and place in My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Neighbourhoods folder.

Notes & Known Issues:

The neighbourhood makes use of all EPs and Stuff Packs. EPs are definitely all required, but it should still be playable without all SPs. Some items will be missing though!

Some of the memories and ages of sims might not match up 100%, I shuffled things around a bit so there might be continuity issues if you look too close! 😅

Deceased sims do not have memories (this was already the case in the original hood, I didn't feel like adding them) and may not have correct relationships

Graves should be fine. If you have issues with them not appearing, try running the hood checker!

This neighbourhood uses @meetmetotheriver's Strangetown as a base (thank you for your hard work, meetme!), and so does not come with Bella Goth. Also, Glabe is interpreted as Glarn's sister, which I kept.

Welcome Wagons will show up! (unless you have a mod that disables them)

A few NPCs such as drivers spawned during play are included.

I did tweak the LTWs, but turn-ons are randomised. Obviously feel free to tweak any of these to suit your headcanons/storylines/etc, like you would with the basegame Strangetown.

Kirsten Loste is pretty much a blank slate, just like Ajay is in vanilla Strangetown

Graveltar Festival Grounds: CC-Free Community

Making just a music venue wasn't enough, I wanted to try out making a music ~festival~!

There's a stage with all the instruments (ones that can perform a single song together at least), audience area, food stand, bar, bathrooms, showers, and tents.

Everything is pretty tight-knit close together, but bigger lots = more lag, and if you actually want to play it like a multi-day festival experience, then I'm hoping the smaller size makes that more feasible from a technical standpoint.

One note, when some sims Watch the performers, they might choose to stand "backstage," like this:

Unless there's a mod I don't know about, you can't control where sims stand when they Watch sims perform music. They can choose multiple spots when Watching, but there's variables to how/where they choose that idk anything about, so if I want them to move I just cancel the Watch interaction & redo it until they hopefully move somewhere I like better. I think it mostly happens when they Watch the piano or drum performer though, as those are closer to the back of the stage than the front.
