in the moments right after sex, where the tingles that run through your bodies have fizzled to nothing, and your breathing has slowed back to normal, back to rest - that's when katsuki is at his most quiet and pensive.

you wonder how he still manages to have the strength in his arms and legs to carry you - you're boneless, fucked through thoroughly until your body shook down to your core - but he scoops you up from the bed effortlessly.

aftercare, he calls it. you can imagine you've already done that just moments ago, with his fingers trailing gently down the length of your arms as you wrap them around him and inhale his scent, your nose pressed into his chest.

but somehow that isn't enough. ever benevolent, he gives you still more, drawing a bath as you wait, sitting atop the closed toilet. minutes later, and you're soaked into the tub with him, the wafting scents of citrus and chamomile attempting to soothe you into a night rest.

water sloshes as your arms wade in small movements; his fingers massage your scalp tenderly and shampoo suds drip out of your hair along your shoulders. his hands soon follow, massaging what he can, relaxing you outward to match the inward. you sigh into his hold, and he kisses the side of your temple.

"like the princess treatment you're getting?" he says, gruffly. playfully he nips at your earlobe, before his right arm wraps around your chest from behind and pulls you close.

you sigh, letting your body slip further into the comfort of his body and the warmth of the drawn bath.

"couldn't ask for more."

There’s a boy, and he’s so beautiful it hurts. 

Among the fiery glow of the bonfire flames, his eyes luminate with golden specks - so bright, so mesmerising, that you cannot stop staring from beyond the heated curtain. You catch his gaze and the way his smile quirks upward, bashfulness flushing his cheeks and provoking his teeth to sink sinfully into the plusness of his lip. It brings a warmth to your chest - a sensation of adoration, burning hotter than the flames separating you both. It travels to your fingers with an itch that wants you to jump to the boy, embrace him, kiss him, love him. He had been everyone’s saviour, but to you, he saved more than just your life; he brought colour back to your dull days, allowing you to see the vibrancy that radiated with pure intentions from your daily sunlight. He returned hope to your anxious mind and settled the prior need to look over your shoulder for danger every spare second. He made you feel so incredibly loved to the point where you stopped breathing and your heart would swell with anticipating warmth. There’s a boy, and he’s so perfect it hurts, in the most breathtaking way.
