Tracing for art is okay and I think ppl need to stop thinking that it's cheating, or morally wrong. Being heavily inspired by something is fine, too. So what if someone traces a picture, or a 3D model, or someone else's art? Why are some people so insane over that? Most of us usually roll our eyes when we hear about pose theft, art style theft, and inspiration theft. Shouldn't this extend to tracing, as well? Being puritan about art is just weird. Like, some people are waiting for an "Ah-hah, gotcha" moment to make fun of/pick away at some inexperienced artists style/skill. Or anyone's art at any level. Seeing that someone traces just opens a gate to "okay" criticism because the artist is now deemed "immoral". There are exceptions to this, though, and I feel like the majority of people could understand where the line is drawn.
