You are allowed to change overnight.

Let's say that you've been wanting to dress alternative, but your style has been just wearing jeans and crop tops and doing clean girl makeup your whole life. You might be thinking it's too late for you to change your style or attitude because everyone already has a certain image of you. This might even make you wish you could change schools or cities where no one knows you and you can completely change yourself but none of that is necessary. You are allowed to change overnight.

Whether it's about you wanting to change your style or even attitude it is not a crime to show up the next day a completely different person if that makes YOU happy. Yes, you might get looks from people like your friends or family but might as well make them get used to it than hiding who you want to be. Don't hide your identity and don't stop yourself from becoming the best version of you.

I know this might be easier said than done because it can be overwhelming because you never know how the people you know are going to react. You can't live like that though. You shouldn't live your life worrying what others will think of you.

I'm talking from experience. Just start wearing what you want to, doing your makeup the way you want to, and listening to the music you want to. The whole point of alternative fashion is to go against the norm and if someone has something to say just don't mind them and if someone is judging you because your whole style or act changed overnight then that's honestly more of a them problem.

You're allowed to change overnight and do what makes you happy.
