(Before anyone jumps, any people that came back in the fandom after a break that said nothing or step back before saying anything, they’re completely valid)

Probably it’s only me but I don’t want a lot of the people back in the fandom. So many’s people reaction were so horrid that it was genuinely worrying and scary, and now many are coming back as nothing as happened. Especially artists are getting the pretty privilege treatment because of their art (I’m an artist if anyone wanna comes to my ass saying “oh you don’t know how artist work!1?1?1”).

Like I get it for many was a trauma response and it’s valid, but your feelings are valid, your actions (like sending death threats, etc), are not. And so many people cried about leaving for so long, and now they cry about “wanting to get back”. And idk, I find that irritating.

I want Dream to get better fans because he genuinely deserve it, and those “fans” will probably act the same again. One of my “friends” that was one of the biggest spreader of misinformation on Twitter even screamed at me that they will never come back in the fandom, and now they’re tweeting about Dream as nothing as happened.

when all of this happened i just wish people would’ve just logged out of twitter instead of tweeting every single thought that came to their head from the shock of it all. because ultimately i think that most of the horrible things people were saying was right after they watched what caiti said and they didn’t even take a second to actually process anything that was being said, they were all just scrolling their tl and making themselves angry by jumping to conclusions and everyone was feeding into each others anger

dream deserves better fans so badly and he’s deserved that for a while. he’s such a caring and compassionate person and it’s horrible to see that he has some horrible fans that are the complete opposite of that
