When do you think the first time Scrooge cried in front of Goldie was ? Why was he crying ? How did she react ?

hmmmmmmmm. i think it would be something similar to golden lagoon - she got hurt, he thought she was dead/wasnt gonna make it. shed be fine and depending on how upset he was she'd either try to make fun of him ('ooohh youd miss me so much <3') or she'd be so shocked/flattered by it that she wouldnt say a thing. maybe kiss him though

Hmm. So maybe anxiety is like… it’s like a wound, bleeding freely. And the command isn’t to live a life where you’re never in danger of taking a knife in the side. The world is fraught with fearful things and some of them have knives. The command is more like, “Good grief, soldier, don’t just stand there gushing blood, staunch that thing before you bleed out!”

And with what do we staunch it? Prayer and supplication and thanksgiving. Casting our cares on Him, because He cares for us. And with repentance. Lord, forgive my unbelief…
