When Aileen got home from work, she got a call: Her grandfather had finally arrived from Strangerville! He’d be living with the Blackburn’s from now on. The kids were elated about this, especially Gemma loved her great-grandfather very much. The very first thing they did when he arrived, was to play until Aileen had finished making dinner. In fact, Alexander O’Neil had lived with them when the twins were born, until they aged up to toddlers. Thus, their family home felt more complete now that he was with them again 🫶🏻

Always keep Simming - Fun times at the Fall Festival

The annual Fall Festival was one of Aileen’s favorites. As a kid, she used to count the days until it was time to visit the Festival grounds in Windenburg. Gemma and Gavin played all day long and enjoyed seeing the carved pumpkins. Aileen and Colin each treated themselves to pumpkin spice cookies and carrot cupcakes. Next year, the kids would be able to carve their own pumpkins. The fall season had another special event that was deeply meaningful to Aileen: Remembrance Day.
