Welcome to the family, Cosi! ♡ Note: Her name is pronounced like "cozy" but with an "s" instead of a "z" :) Dulce's new home was a bit too quiet for her liking, so she decided to adopt a dog from the local shelter. Why not? She's been considering it for a bit now anyway. The condominium building has a lot of great outdoor space for pets and kids to play in. Also, Dulce is very active and can take Cosi out on regular walks or jogs.

Dulce: This is the place.

Caruso: [Yawns] It’s so early, Alegría.

Dulce: Gotta catch up!!

Dulce: OMG! How do I choose just one dog???

Caruso: Never mind, I’m fully awake. Let’s take all of them.

Dulce: Excuse me, why is that one still locked in the cage?

Animal Shelter Volunteer: Ohh, her??? Yeah, she’s a feisty one. She growls at all the people and dogs. We can’t get her to stop.

Dulce: Can I see her?

Animal Shelter Volunteer: Umm, sure... But I warned you, so don’t sue us or anything. She’s got wickedly sharp teeth.

Dulce: Hi, there! I like you. How does a life filled with kisses on the head, regular spa treatments, delicious homemade food, and endless love sound to you?

Dulce: [Chuckles] Okay, okay. No head kisses if you’re not ready for that.

Dulce: You’re just scared, huh? Everyone here is a lot bigger than you and you want to look tough. I get that.

Other Volunteer: Oh, be careful with that one.

Dulce: It’s fine.

Dulce: [Gently speaks] Can I pet you?

[The dog cautiously walks up to Dulce and puts her head on Dulce’s hand.]

Caruso: Aw, she’s so cute. Is she the one?

Dulce: I think so!

Caruso: Let’s take her home, then.

Dulce: You heard that??? Let’s go now, come on.

Dulce: She’s letting me pick her up!!!

Dulce: You’re such a cosita linda- [Gasps] that’s it! That’s your name. Cosita. Or Cosi. Vamos.

What do mummies eat for lunch? ... Wraps.

Always Keep Simming - The little Geniuses Gemma and Gavin

Time spent with family was therapeutic to Alexander. Gemma and Gavin were so curious and they constantly kept asking about the world- and as someone who‘d lived through many different hardships, traveled a lot and had made many many experiences, their great-grandfather was happy he could contribute to their education. Thus, storytelling time with great-grandpa became one of the favorite daytimes for the kids. Aileen and Colin were grateful that living with them and helping with the kids was not a burden for Aileen’s grandfather- it was truly therapeutic. 🫶🏻 It could also be a bit much at times though especially when Gemma decided to change the interior design according to her own „style“ (aka chaos) 😅

Side Note: In case you’re wondering, Alexander is a long-lived sim. He actually still has a long time to live (if nothing else is going to happen). On top of that, Evangeline (Aileen’s mother), was his and Delilah’s first child and he was about 23 when she was born. So, I imagine he’s around 70-75 at this point. Also, Aileen is roughly 23 - very young and already a mad scientist 👩🏻‍🔬 but keep in mind she graduated a few weeks early so she was already halfway done with uni when she aged up to a YA! I‘m so proud of her 🥹
