I was scrolling through my home page of rain world shit and this hit me like a truck

You can just pretend that it’s a showfall production, I mean it does fit the vibe, horrific things happening as the characters all just laugh

also, you know how the filter made a real body into a plastic skeleton or blood into slime? What if it makes people bound to a poll into mannequins? Or make guns look like nerf guns or drills.

not to mention Charlie died in the bank and came in the next episode, Tommy came back in season 2, although it’s unclear if he’s really alive in s2 e1. (Although the Charlie thing can be explained as that being the beast and not him) I haven’t seen s2 e3 yet, but I assume some of them die there too considering it’s a zombie apocalypse

all in all, this doesn’t matter in the slightest because sorry almost definitely doesn’t have cross episode lore, wait… showfall media shows didn’t have much cross episode consistency

as cool as it would be all of this is just a kinda fun way of thinking of sorry boys, definitely not intentional, but if your desperate for generation loss content then you can just pretend
