[To answer a possible question, the population and the size of Depths (Underground) within this AU are far larger than those of other AUs that exist, so you may find many more villages and towns strewn about.] [I also apologize for me being a shitty writer -v-'] Monsterkind is scattered within a three-sided Civil war between Muffet, Emperor Sans and The Almighty King Papyrus along with small-time revolutionaries. Sans even having a human (Chara) as his weapon to have weaken the other factions in this conflict. Though Chara being a weapon was due to a rather horrific deal made after their kidnapping once they had healed from their near-death injuries from their fall into the Depths. [I'll explain this in better detail later on.] Muffet's own schemes growing evermore terrifying and numerous and Papyrus, staunch and yet wary in his own wants for Monsterkind to just evolve past this bitter and disunified moment. Long before this War it was an unstable peace due to a variety of issues, the previous Emperor focusing too much on creating an immensely powerful army for revenge against Humanity after the Great war. The situation for Monsters only got worse as a powerful mage with five Humans entered the Depths, this powerful human along with her two subordinates who followed her command would terrorize and devastate Monsterkind, yet three chose to turn against the Mage and her two horrid allies. Yet after the demise of these humans, only terror and bitterness were left struck into every soul along with the Royalty being humbled along with the death their Empress. A century later both brothers began ruling this Empire after the passing of Emperor Gaster... unfortunately he had neglected to teach them how to properly rule leading further frustrations and infighting within the Government, eventually climaxing with three of the Six souls taken away by Papyrus and the first splitting of the Empire. Muffet used this opportunity to carve out her own territories, using the contempt many villages held against this crumbling Empire, before eventually and nastily setting up situations between both factions until she revealed her own separatist nation once she enacts a plan that would escalate tensions so rapidly that War finally broke out.

[Asriel]: "Come on, we can bring Mauve with us. We'd be treated as heroes!"* [Chara]: "Look Asriel, I'm all for doing reckless adventures but... casually strolling into Muffet's territory has to be the dumbest idea you've had in mind."

[I wrote the draft version of the dialogue, but my best friend Grotto edited my dialogue to be better] [Art by @kyne-grotto my best friend.] [This took place during a weekend prior to recent Human's fall into the world of Monsters. Mauve, Asriel and Chara enjoying a day at Ezekiel's cafe. though Asriel being somewhat late to the gathering.]

(CHARA): “Heeey, it’s the man of the hour. Do you have your own stuff this time?”

ASRIEL sighs, rolling his eyes good naturedly.

(ASRIEL): “That was just a one off thing–” He jerks a thumb in EZEKIEL’s direction, towards the front counter. “--Yeah, I bought my own stuff. I didn’t forget again.”

ASRIEL pats the pocket where his wallet is. CHARA notices and hums in approval. MAUVE is attempting to scrape a stubborn speck of dirt out from one of her claws. She nods to the seat on the other side of DUSK without looking up.

(MAUVE): “Come on, spill. Anything you saw with Old Man Gerson’s got to be better than Eroluc going off about her recruits breathing…”

This is Chara's bedroom and his study at the same time, he tends to unfortunately only sleep for only 2/3 hours maybe 4 hours at best.

Here's Delsin, the most recent Human to fall within the Depths of Monsterkind. Yeah, don't lose focus on this one otherwise you'll end up losing not only your wallets, but probably your weapons and any valuable you can hold onto.

Currently working upon three different tilesets, two being within Asgore's, Morgsael (Formerly), Asriel (Whenever Toriel sent him over) and Chara homes the lower half being more related to the Megastructure called the Mainframe whilst it's connected the Dreemurr Laboratories. There are many other paths, even ones leading outside though those have magical barrier prevent possible volcanic eruptions harming the various structures, buildings along with the citizens that work here and that protect the main capital from such too.
