He may be very good at hiding it, but Dusan is pretty afraid of losing everything. He doesn't remember what it was like for his parents to leave their home and have to immigrate to the US, but the fear still lives in him. And its the biggest reason why he wanted to create the perfect security system. To protect and steal data to make a profit off of it. He would never admit it, but the fact that DedSEC so easily gets into places and hurts people, that's what really scares him the most.

The time he really feared for his life, however, happened early in his time working for Blume. He had been living in Chicago, working on the first version of cTOS, which ultimately ended in disaster. He had been in the office when hackers attacked the building, hijacking the systems and shutting everything down. They had even broken into the building and were taking downy anyone who tried to stop them. Dusan managed to stay out of sight, even managing to break his own computer before they could find it and figure out just what he was doing.
