PROMPTING FOR THE 2023 EDITION OF THE NEWTMAS FEST IS NOW OPEN!

PROMPTING HERE. 

Newtmas fest 2023 is anonymous, prompt-based fic and art fest. All participants who are creating NC-17 content must be eighteen years old by February 26, 2024.

You may submit a max of 15 prompts and only via AO3. Anyone may submit a prompt, even if you are not planning to create for this fest! We do hope, however, that you will take the time to comment on any entry created for your prompt. Additionally, you do not need to leave a prompt to claim one.

There will be a space to sign up with a self-prompt on our collection on ao3. The prompts submitted while prompting is open will be able to be claimed by anyone.

The unused prompts of the last edition will be available once again for claiming.

the thing people forget about the classic deancas scenes, and that i frankly appreciate for its comedic effect, is the absolutely jarring contrast to whatever the fuck sam is doing at the time - dean and cas having their little “here’s your coat back” moment while sam is strapped to a chair getting electroshocked by a demon vs. dean almost getting beat up to death by cas in that crypt while sam is spray painting and telling meg the entire story of his last breakup
