The whole "you should cancel all classic lit because it's written by straight white men" is very stupid, not only for the fact that you can't cancel books in general, but that a lot of said popular classic authors are in fact, not straight white men

like if you actually bother to invest yourself or even just do a bit more background research further from what you have probably
been taught at school
and to say they were written by straight white men is racist sexist and homophobic
this is more general but you want representation by 'cancelling' white people yet you don't bother to actually look for the representation
that actually exists
