It wasn’t child porn, it was just a picture of a child. You say it’s disgusting, and I agree, but like I said, just because it’s disgusting doesn’t mean you don’t have to deal with it. I’m not trying to make it seem as if gay people are terrible like pedophiles- that’s not what I meant. I was just applying a situational argument similar to the one that could be used here. I’m not really sure what you think should happen to pedophiles, I’m assuming that it’s death row, but I think you should reconsider. We can’t deprive them of basic human rights, even if they don’t act human. I’m proposing some sort of rehabilitation for people like that, instead of just ignoring the issue and /or trying to solve it with societal distrust. That’s not going to rid the streets of pedophiles, that’s just going to make it seem like they are gone until they attack or commit a crime. We need to do something about it. I’m not arguing that they are normal people, I’m trying to convince you that we need to do something to change how they act. I’m sorry if that wasn’t clear. Please point out if I missed something, it’s a bit difficult to decipher your intentions and arguments from your post.
