BUT, that doesn’t excuse the fact that he rapes and sexually abuses the servant girls since he was teen(some of them being young as 11-12; Dyana was 14-15 while he was 21), possibly sexually harasses Helaena when he is drunk, forced 13 yr old Aemond to sleep with an older woman, sexually harassed Baela, rapes very young girls in street of silk(in the book, possibly also in the show), and watches his own “illegitimate” children fight to the death for entertainment.

It’s okay to have sympathy for child Aegon but the fact some people sympathize with adult Aegon and even claim that he isn’t evil is crazy
