One thing I’ve noticed recently during my reread is how WindClan seem to be better historians than the other clans.

At a minimum in modern times they remember Shattered Ice, Gray Wing, and Moth Flight. And Webfoot at least tells stories about his ancestor Rabbittail who lived under Gorsestar’s rule. None of the other clans seem to have this much knowledge (not that they speak of anyway) about their founding history.

Maybe it’s to do with WindClan feeling particularly close to StarClan (as stated in guides due to their closeness to the moon stone and pool, and due to their sleeping under the stars). Maybe they feel a particular sense of duty or pride recounting these ancient stories.
