An AU where when the were picking the teams in the upside down (ex. Robin Nancy and Steve or Eddie and Dustin.) the teams were Robin Nancy and Eddie or Steve and Dustin because Steve care so much about Dustin and trusts Eddie to defeat Becca with the help of his friends. Do you see where I’m going with this? Eddie isn’t the one who dies. It’s STEVE. HE distracts the bats. Dustin cries for HIM. (Not saying eddies death isn’t sad I’m just reimagining it)
