a/n: dis fic is messy and unedited but i had to post. inspired by the greys anatomy episode of the same title (post hospital shooting episode, so if u know, u know) and i also want to acknowledge that it was reading youngmoneymilla’s post endgame tony drabble that made me want to to write a fic where he survived

“You have got to be kidding me!” You scream, processing what you just heard over the phone. 

The voice on the other line apologizes.

“No no Bob,” your hands come up to press on your temple, you hate that this has happened so often that you can tell it’s Bob’s voice and not some other front desk assistant. “Not your fault. See you in an hour.” You sigh, defeated.

“Ma’am he’s wondering if you can be here in thirty. He’s got an appointment for noon.”

You grit your teeth. So he thinks he can make demands.

“Too bad.” You spit out.

You cut Bob off before he can try to defend your husband.  

Once you have a hold on something stable you begin to sob, you sob recklessly. Every time you think you can go one day without thinking back to that moment you are brought back to it.
