So yeah, I hc Jones having two sisters, one older, one younger, making him the middle child and only son!

Overall, he has a great (albeit, somewhat protective) relationship with his family, minus the abusive side of the family from his mother’s side.

(Jones has mentioned in canon, quote “And I thought my folks were messed up.” This is my hc of it how it plays out.)

Marilyn grew up in a large and religiously manipulative household, and it didn’t get any better for her, even when she married Rueben and had kids of her own. She was sometimes even manipulated and misguided, really affecting her parental skills today. She’s now overly protective of her adult children, and her young grandchildren.

Marilyn’s a wonderful mother and grandmother, she was just misguided sometimes in the past. Marilyn eventually snaps and cuts all contact from her abusive relatives during Case 52 of The Conspiracy. Her biological family was never pleased with her or her kids, and would constantly scold them.

• Rueben worked as a firefighter before retiring.

• Denise is a psychiatrist.

• Darcie is an elementary school teacher.

• Denise is married and has twin children, a son and a daughter. (Aged 3 in Grimsborough, aged 8 in The Conspiracy)

• Darcie has a fiancée.

• The family lived in the UK at one point in time before moving to Grimsborough.
