NGL this is actually another ending to the story some people thought up. Why? Because they couldn’t take the cruelties of the world,and here,the Scorpion doesn’t hide his nature,jsut his actions.
You know that fable about the scorpion and the frog? How it's about how we need to deny kind favors to people because "their nature by virtue of their origin will cause them to always do ill" and all that? I think that's bull crap. Everyone has the ability to be good. If anything, then scorpion’s nature is not to sting, and when he's scared he stings.
You should draw a scorpion and frog. This time, they get across safely. And now they're besties. Maybe even in love.
