Im Sorry But Has No Other Dragon Tried To Like. Travel To Pantala. Why Is It That Only Clearsight Goes??
I’m sorry but has no other dragon tried to like. Travel to Pantala. Why is it that only Clearsight goes?? Wouldn’t it make more sense if it was like an urban legend and dragons would try to go there thinking it was real? Especially Seawings like they can breathe underwater so what’s stopping them from just exploring and making a map?? To go there?? Like it would’ve been interesting for them to be the first ones to come to Pantala and change everything instead of Clearsight. Like what

Tbh I really hate it when a show or a movie is animated and it’s just so. bland. Like ik animation is hard but like take advantage of what you can do when you’re not bound by the laws of physics and shit. Like, I feel like emotions should be conveyed through animation as physical manifestation, not like how it’s done in live action. A character’s emotions are more than just a set, they’re something that is apart of them.
That’s also kinda why I like dhmis, they use more than one animation style and really get creative on how to express the characters and themes and ideas. They really do take advantage of what they can do with different animations styles.
Arcane is also another good show. I haven’t finished it yet, but the animation style is just gorgeous and expressive. The show uses the animation like a weapon, and uses it to its full extent.
This is just my opinion and if you disagree that’s fine. And if you have any shows that utilize animation to express, plz comment them!

I can’t be the only one who’s noticed this
All I remember is getting this thing and thinking ‘that’s kinda familiar’
Charm Knights!!!
[part 1/?]

The real funny thing about watching HJFONE with my cousin is that they’d already watched it prior and had recommended it to me and they told me in the middle of like episode four ‘yeah Airy lives in like the woods’ and I pictured him in the jungle eating bugs and fighting bears when really he was having a gaming session and lived in a shack. so
Hot take or smth but this is the best scene in HJFONE:

It’s just. The thing that is, everyone saw Circle trying to leave and get teleported back to the main area by Airy, so everyone assumed they couldn’t leave. But then, Airy like trips and cracks his skull open and leaves for long enough that Backpack/Liam looks into the distance, and realises that he can leave. Airy isn’t there to stop him anymore.
So he starts walking. The music gets louder and the grass starts rotating, until Liam is at the bottom. He sees the plug, an unclimbable tower, and Stone’s notes.
The camera rotates, panning back to reveal that the Plane is inescapable. The music crescendos, as you realize the past few intros were showing the bottom of the plane. I used to think the camera had been turned upside down; now I know better.
You can walk around the world, and still end up back where you started. There’s nothing around the Plane. Nothing at all. No stars, the sky was empty. It was bleak and hopeless.
Before this scene, I was only watching the show because my friend insisted that it was a good show. I was in it for the comedy, mostly. I didn’t see it as anything else. Until this scene.
This scene just made me feel so hopeless. The characters couldn’t leave, no matter what they did. Even when Bryce got sent back to the Plane, they pulled up the plug in a fit of desperation, but Airy just plugged it back in. Even when Liam tried to destroy the plug, it only made a few dents. They could do nothing on this world. The characters were powerless.
It reminded me of the scene in Coraline, where Coraline and the cat were walking in that white void and ended up back where they started. The world was like the Plane. You couldn’t run away. Also, when Coraline asks the cat why they ended up at the same place, he simply said ‘Walk around the world.’, finalizing that they couldn’t leave the grounds. It’s like the Plane.
And, at the end of season two, with Airy dead and Liam on his own, there was no way to get back home, for him or the contestants. They couldn’t even escape by the radio, due to Liam’s notes being destroyed. He could try the computer, but it had taken Airy over a decade to figure out how it worked. It was like a circle ending, with Liam in Airy’s place, and Airy in Liam’s (with the Waiting Room and such) There was no way back home for either of them.
Idk I felt like I had to rant abt it somewhere. This post is kinda long so thanks for staying till the end.
