female characters who didn’t want a relationship with a man and had their own independent storylines were my favorites

stopped watching shows if the characters randomly got paired up in het relationships

got super excited “for no reason” whenever i read a book with gay rep

I have as much sympathy for you as the racist, neo-nazis and white supremacists "invading" and influencing your ideology do, which is less than none.

you been told since day fucking one by everyone and their dead grandma that terfs and radfems have a consistent history of pandering to the far-righters because of their disdain for the trans accepting left, you've been told by ex-radfems and ex-terfs about the amount of racism, micro-agressions, harassment, belittling and silencing you would go trough if you associated yourself with that ideology, you have been told by POC trans and biological women that they knew the movement would throw you under the bus for whatever convinience they could find.

You were told you were going to be tokenized, objectified, seconded, ignored and soap-boxed, you were told that by other females you called handmaidens and brainwashed, you ignored the message because of the the messenger. You were constantly and concistently told you were going to hurt yourself if you taught this ideology wasn't ready to hurt you for their end goals because it worked with other ideologies as well.

I have sympathy for those that wasted their time trying to warn you, not for your contrarian ass that thought you wouldn't be treated like the rest and this ideology would do you better than the rest.

People who enter a situation that they got warned would not do anything good for them deserve help but not sympathy, if you want to stop having to feel sad that "this what this community really is?" then stop identifying with that community and start the process of leaving it behind and helping others do the same too.

Today on TERFs invent their own supposed oppression by trans women:

Kate Scottow, the “mum arrested in front of her children for calling a trans woman a man on twitter” was convicted for harassment. The sensible among us may wonder, “why in the hell would that alone get someone convicted for harassment” (and “how do I utilise this legal avenue”)? Well, because “calling a trans woman a man” was not what she did.

The court case convicted her based on the fact that “Mrs Scottow has created multiple accounts on Twitter to persistently send [the victim] tweets, or post tweets, which published [her] private financial and medical information”.

Ironically while searching for confirming sources I came across Scottow’s listing on “Peak Trans” police page, which covered both confirming Scottow’s story and identifying TERF support for Scottow in one efficient click.

FYI, for TERFs: facing the consequences of your illegal actions is not unfair or biased in favour of trans people
