So I just had the worst streak of food luck in that I not only ate chocolate trifle that had gone sour, but I subsequently shovelled about 4 fucking tablespoons of expired apple sauce into my maw like a starving orphaned boy in the 1700s before realising that instead of my yummy delicious treat, I was swallowing battery acid.
