Hey so guys know how in that baby bill picture, he doesn't have black limbs yet?

I know the image is most likely faked by Bill simply for the book- however, let's assume that's not the case

Okay well I've came up with two options here

Option A: the black limbs Bill has as an adult are just really long socks/boots and gloves

Or, the more fun option,

Option B: dream demons work like deer in reverse.

Like you know how deer fawns start off with little special patterns and they lose them when they get older?

Yeah what if dream demons (Flatlanders) do that but in reverse. Like they gain the black limbs as they get older.
