Hi so I’d really like to know the thought process behind choosing the tags for that decapitated mouse post because I’m fascinated, like for example where does #hellenic polytheism come in to play?
i just kinda circulate through the same 50 tags to attract a certain aesthetic of other tumblr users tbh, but I try to add a few that are actually prevalent to the post too like #taxidermy etc. i also feel as though #nicoledollanganger makes sense being up there since it’s a part of something, like a doll, and kinda reminds me of her observatory mansions cover, as well as #southerngothic, it just makes sense in my brain i guess? as for hellenic polytheism, it has always deeply fascinated me since learning about it and i add that to a couple posts every now and again when i feel it’s fitting to the photo i choose to post, idk maybe it’s like an offering to the gods or something? i know artemis is like the slay hunter goddess and my cat caught the mouse and left nothing but it’s head so i thought i’d preserve it :)
