I'm getting overly tired of hearing different versions of the trolley problem repeated to me in different forms

I think, generally, killing isn't cool

I'm not naive, at least in this way - I understand that a group of people has to kill other people in order to survive at times. War is a sad necessity at times. But at the same time, I wish it weren't necessary

So no, I won't be exuberant when I hear x person killed a mass of people from y group. I also won't be happy hearing y person killed a mass of people from x group. Stop making me choose sides - I'm on the side of stop fucking shooting each other

I fucking hate the global state of being right now. I'm sick of hearing that everyone is killing everyone else over money, land, religion, and anything else. It's fucking exhausting

My mind longs for a reality where things aren't so violent, where I'm not being constantly bombarded with images and video of people suffering

Maybe I'm selfish for thinking this way - i wasn't born into a centuries old fight between warring peoples, why do I have the right to feel frustrated at the global climate when I'm sitting on the golden chair?
